I can imagine a computer doing this, but handwriting? That is a very unique and special brain.

How do you decide on what specific scene to portray?

Gave friend princess bride one, they just thought it was a line drawing until I pointed out it’s the script, they’re blown away …

I will be saving up to get my fiance a very specific one I know you've done but was not on your site hopefully around Christmas. Very reasonable prices for what you do I might add!

At least we know one writer who isn't on strike. Beautiful stuff.

I have the Ghostbusters one. I purchased "Boondocks Saints" and "Back to the Future" for friends. And they think they are among the best gifts they have ever received. Good paper, fast shipping... 10/10 recommend this art.

Feels weirdly too meta, but have you done either Adaptation or Stranger Than Fiction?

Just bought 2

If you had had one of Bee Movie I would 100% buy it right this instant. Or of The Dark Knight Rises — though ONLY if the artwork is of CIA standing in front of the plane or something else from the opening scene before the credits.

Oh no! You don’t have The Shining listed anymore! Any plans to a) list it again b) do a Star Trek movie?

Adding this for later, My brother is a big Back to the Future fan. I'll get one for his birthday.

Get it now before it's gone bro.

I absolutely love your work. The Addams Family with either Wednesday at the center or Gomez and Morticia dancing. And the gomez quote "I love her not for the way she danced with my angels but for the way the sound of her name silence my demons" highlighted or in bold print... just an idea. I would buy 5 of those!

That is amazing! Do you do commissions? What would something like that cost?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thirded!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

doot. Also interested in a commission if possible!

I love your work and I've even gifted one of your prints before (TMNT) - but it only just now struck me how crazy it is that an ENTIRE movie script fits on one of those pages?! Like, yeah you write smol, but not THAT smol.

As someone who used to write scripts, an hour and a half movie script is 90 script pages. The rule is each page equals one minute of movie time. You'd be surprised at how light scripts can be! (It depends on the length of the movie of course)

I guess that just goes to show how much of a movie just consists of things happening without someone talking - much unlike a book.

Things happening without someone talking also takes up space in the script. Possibly more space, depending on how tight the script is. "Exit, pursued by bears" might take less space to write than to write about, but that's not necessarily true for every kind of action.

Its quite possibly just the dialogue. Might include the stage settings and "so and so enters crying from the door".
