13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

my first thought... HOW DID YOU DRAW THAT WITH A PEZ CANDY DISPENSER?

13 years ago | Likes 218 Dislikes 0

i thought "where did he find black pez candy?!"

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'll be the first one to say, your use of shadows is pretty boring, but your shading is still phenomenal.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Staedtler; the only eraser I use.

13 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

This art makes me all happy inside. Yes.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fascinating.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So if this is PEZ art then where is the candy? I'm talkin orange here people!

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I love the composition of it all. The pencils, toys, glitter, etc. make these pieces even more beautiful.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Like... PEZ Pez? Like the candy?

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A, omg. These are awesome. Do you have deviantART? B, what is a PEZ drawing?

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

PEZ is Pierre-Yves Riveau (a person) from France. Amazing artist!

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thanks!

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That doesn't look like candy

13 years ago | Likes 334 Dislikes 1

Title is misleading

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Haha, and there I was looking for the dispensers in first few images.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

dude is french. I believe it's pronounced P-AY. but yeah. I got sad for a bit too

13 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

lol I want pez now

13 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

how is that 2 syllables?

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

it isn't supposed to be. I was just highlighting the pronunciation. apologies.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Pez must be an assumed name, as it isn't French. There is a Spanish artist named Pez, is it the same guy?

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I will research for you and return with an answer posthaste... OP WILL DELIVER DAMMIT

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

nope. two different guys. El Pez in Spain does Graffitti, this guy is just a sketch artist. http://www.pez-artwork.com/ TMYK

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ahhh, very nice. Thanks for the link; I tried to find it on my own but kept finding the wrong Pez.

<3 for your talent!

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I really like these all but the Lego one in is arresting.

13 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

I thought the hand in the mirror should have been a Lego hand. Still cool though.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

someone has an excellent working knowledge of light and shadows! brilliant work! :)

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

These are gorgeous, but what is PEZ>

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Aw, I was looking forward for some sweet-ass PEZ candy art :( Still, this almost blew me off my chair, if not in the sugary way I expected.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The fact that the paper is so clean around the sketches impresses me.

13 years ago | Likes 752 Dislikes 2

Very Valid points! I miss sketching and painting, digital art just isn't as satisfying.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yea, the way it's not all smudged with tears like all my stuff is...

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's not that hard to be clean. Particularly with small detailed works like this. And a good eraser & smudge sticks instead of your finger.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

haha me too

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a left handed person... how?

13 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

(1/2) I assumed they were left handed until I realized all the pages were on the right. The drawing of the hand is of the right one...

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

(2/2) so I thought they used their own right as a model and most talented artists (I've found) are lefties.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Photoshop. And I don't mean that as an insult. These are incredible, but they have been digitally retouched. (blur added, contrast adjusted)

13 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 3

but yeah. i totally agree. it's been shooped. but not a bad thing in that case.

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

the Staedtler Mars Plastic Eraser is amazing... try it. it's basically magic. trust me i went to art school.

13 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

I'll have a number 6 with a coke.

13 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Damn, beat me to the joke! Have an upvote.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't know what will kill you faster, your eating habits or your wit. ;-)

13 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

as an art major: I'm amused and horribly frustrated all at once.

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

yeah, and the filter really makes them look fake + the nicely posed tools. i cant say for sure,i just think it would look better sans filter

13 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I think Instagram just got to France. they're trying to be hipster

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

these would make sick tattoos!

13 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd love the storm trooper one.

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

smudge guard ~ try it it's awesome :D

13 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 1

or you can use a piece of paper under your hand. thats what i do, works great :)

13 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

cleaning up after you're done works too.

13 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

SMUDGE GUARD!? WHAT IS THIS? HAS MY ART TEACHER BEEN HOLDING BACK ON ME!? IS IT POSSIBLE???

13 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Try not to lay your hands on your paper, the oil from your hands causes graphite and charcoal to be absorb into the paper.

13 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Damn no one replied to you? Looks like it's google time.
