But what does invert bottle before opening mean? Like shake it first, or literally open upside down?

There are ginger pieces inside invert the bottle to allow them to float free to ensure you get awesome ginger goodness after opening

Like a few seconds, just to swirl the liquid some to my the sediment of ginger at the bottom but you don't want to shake it because no fizz

At 4PM on Sunday? Yeah we're up. Keep the lid on, and flip the bottle upside down. This gets all the ginger that settles on the bottom.

Then flip it back right-way-up, and open as per instructions on the lid. Don't shake it, it's carbonated.

Make sure you pull the ring out before you pull up, or the ring just snaps off
