Police found the car 17 years later and Tarantino got it back. Thief didn't get charged due to statute of limitations having run out.

+1 for not saying 'statue of limitations'

I heard Woody Harrelson would only agree to zombieland if the entire cast and crew went on a vegan diet during shooting, and they did.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Everytime I hear about woody Harrelson makes me hate him more even though I love his roles

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Could you bring up a few more reasons? 'Cus I really like his roles...

A few Tom Sizemore favorites... Heat, Natural Born Killers, True Romance, and Black Hawk Down. He does great work when he's off the smack.

It's Meth :/

From what I've read it's actually both. I'm sure you have seen the video of him smoking black tar off foil and then chasing it with crystal

Sizemore fucking owns. Bringing Out The Dead is one of my favorites.

Fucking Jesus I love how depressing Requiem for a Dream is. No other movie stirs up so many emotions for me.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I refuse to ever watch it again it gave me PTSD for a week. I didn't know anything about the movie when I watched it.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Same here. My brother and I watched it together and sat in somewhat of a stunned silence all through the credits.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Seriously the most depressing movie I have ever seen.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I am still blown away by the stamp. Are you kidding me? That completely changes everything in my mind.wow

Vincent Price was a god damned national treasure. He lived a rich full life and everything, but I'm still sad he's not around anymore.

10 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 1

I visited his mansion when I was a young girl. Coolest mansion ever. He converted a coffin into a wetbar and a game room in the basement 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

With full shuffle board, pinball machines, and pool table. Also had interesting artwork and what was probably set props. Was so much fun 2/2

I had the exact same fucking thought

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

Danquan doesn't even like Starbucks

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

Dude: it's not color it's wealth. Snoop Dogg doesn't spend much time in prison since getting rich either.

10 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Funnilly enough, there's something of a correlation between race and wealth in the U.S.

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

And a new beginning, and a new fitted, and some job opportunities that's lucrative

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Well, I wont stereotype every black person as a thief, but every person that has stolen my phone and hopped out of the bus has been black.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

But on the other hand, my step daughter is black and the most anti black racist person I've ever known.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd lock Danquan up for 3 year too, on basic principle that he has a ridiculous name

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

It's not white, so it's ridiculous

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

It's ridiculous because it's not a normal name in most of the world. Get off your racism-horse.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hayato, Julio, Uri, and Yusuf are non-white non-ridiculous names. It's about etymology, not color imo.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nothing to do with colour, it's just a stupid name, you keep making everything racial though sjw

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

you keep crying about your right to offend people

Only one of us is crying... And it ain't me junior

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was blown away with Whiplash actually being among the best movies I've ever seen.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

ARE YOU RUSHING?! OR DRAGGING?!?

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I haven't said "good job" to my employees since I watched this movie. Any compliments have been specific not vague at all.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

This movie made me a better musician.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just watched it last night. I'm pretty picky with movies and I thought it was really good.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Though don't watch it if you actually are a drummer

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I had some psycho directors in hs and college and I don't care to relive it, but everyone thinks I just HAVE to see this. No thank you.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Is your Dad's name Terry?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Negative

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ah. I knew a Terry Dactyl and his wife Linda, they taught music, percussion actually. I thought them having a Sara would make sense.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

omg gangs of new york... GAngs of new york! GANGS OF NEW YORK! YEEEEEEEEEEIIIIISH SOMEONE FINALLY MENTIONED IT ON IMGUR!!!

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You'd think it would be daily! Such a great movie!

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes! And close to no one I've talked to has ever seen or even heard about it :(

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

1) Painting the mustache with alcohol is really a poor substitute. With people who drink regularly and heavily it's not just the smell of

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

and painting your mustache with alcohol would just get you a little rush. Forsmell you'd be better off spreading it over other parts anyway

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

3) but mixed with body odor that combines into a potent and quite unmistakable mixture.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

exactly. it's not just the booze, it's the booze, the sweat and the piss. the dude is irish AND german, he should know this shit.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I wish I didn't know this... But ^^this^^ spot on @slitherlitter.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Right? It's not a smell you can even approximate with just fresh alcohol.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Na, not even close.... It's a terrible smell... Just as you described.... Kicks me in the pit of my stomach when I smell it.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

2) alcohol on their breath, their whole body stinks like it as they sweat it out. And it's not the smell of pure alcohol like in a bottle,

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

IMO it would kind of work if you didn't expect it. But yeah, I agree.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

IMO the disgust factor would be missing.Hard alcohol smells sharp and stings, but on the breath and in the sweat it stinks and is repulsive.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2) I haven't seen the movie but I assume that's the reaction the actor was aiming for. I don't think you can get that with normal alcohol.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Maybe not the exact reaction but something close to it. I haven't seen it either but I get the idea.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i've seen it, there isnt that much of a reaction.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#4 Affleck makes more sense but in a movie, people want to see themselves, and more people relate to blue collar drillers than astronauts.

10 years ago | Likes 318 Dislikes 10

Yeah. A lot of people do not understand that artists sacrifice a piece of reality for their piece to be relatable (or understandable, etc.)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Aflac*

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It's a good point, but people don't always want to see themselves, the appeal of fantasy/escapism is undying.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Not always but it is proven that the audience actually become the characters on screen, this is why audiences hate if the main man dies.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

What does it say about me, when I mostly like movies in which the main act dies?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I am not sure but on first guess I would say you love movies and love a unique outcome.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm sick of that quote, in the film, training astronauts to drill is the original plan, but Bruce Willis tells them it takes years to learn.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

There's a lot of stupid dopey bullshit that goes on in that film, but that's actually the one thing they manage a decent explanation for.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I would assume the logic behind not using astronauts is that the drilling they were doing couldn't really be taught. They didn't have 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 3

2/2 full information about the composition of the asteroid so the driller would likely have to improvise and experience was crucial 2/2

10 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 3

They also felt confident that they could hurl those guys into orbit and get them on the asteroid without a whole lot of training.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Real astronauts took care of all the flying and navigation-y things.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't know, astronauts are super fucking smart. If there were a group that could go without the experience it would be astronauts.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's.... actually a fairly good point. So they knew the only way they could "wing" the drilling is with experienced professionals, but

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

That is one of the lines in the movie too i think. Its not like they didnt explained WHY they used the drillers.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

i agree 100%. The real astronauts do the actual flying etc. You can learn to work clumsily in 0 gravity. But you can't learn experience.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

I'll venture a guess and say you meant "you can't TEACH experience". Then it makes perfect sense to me (working 35 years in my profession).

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Your guess is correct, i was trying to do that but apparently i was too deep in my thoughts when i wrote it.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Great insight, Affleck was being a realist, Bay was thinking in explosions. +1
