My girlfriend of three years had a miscarriage a little over a month ago. I honestly couldn't have been happier, neither of us are really prepared to take on the weight of a child. We've both got a ton of growing to go trough. I supported (and still continue to support) her as much as I could, and she still has nightmares about it. While I do admit I'm upset my child never saw the light of day, I couldn't be more grateful that he/she didn't have to suffer because of his/her irresponsible parents. Maybe some day thought.

(throw away account btw, might reply to any comments, might die in usersub, just really wanted to get this out.)

I must say, you sound aware of your life situation, so you may also have cared enough to change for the child. Don't hate on your potential.

Sorry for the spelling errors, I typed this rather hastily.

Happy Not Father's Day!!

Big hormonal changes that come with pregnancy. Plus it can really damage your self worth leading into depression. Be there emotionally 2/2

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

ifunny.co! that means this is funny!

9 years ago | Likes 119 Dislikes 4

Yeah but for a while kids don't really weigh that much.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Unlucky/lucky dude, just be more careful so when you decide to have children you'll be ready.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't know that happy is the proper emotion here....relieved maybe, but happy seems a little extreme

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Not ready for the responsibility? Stop trying to plant your seed in her garden of Eden!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

condoms, abortion, etc etc

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

You could even spend this time to learn how to spell through

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

nothing wrong with that not everybody is prepared to have children

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

as much as condoms suck during sex it's better than bringing in a child your not prepared to take care of.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Cycle around the user to anyone who needs anonymity for confessions.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So I think this is important- having a miscarriage is an extremely emotional event, even if its early or an unwanted pregnancy. There are1/?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Doesn't sound likw you love her anymore

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

Didn't get that impression, OP just isn't ready for spawn. Sounds like he cares about how it went for her...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Give it some time. You may surprise yourself about how you feel about this in a few years.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You just gotta lift bro, babies don't weigh that much

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

so, happy... not father's day?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Im glad you can repost something like this. Have seen it a bunch of times lately.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 13

wasn't a repost. if you think it is I'd love to see the "original". people like you are the reason people hate those that call reposts out.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

does your wife know?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Too bad your girlfriend could be happier. She still gets nightmares about it? :(

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It is a hard thing to go through physically and emotionally. She probably should talk to a professional

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Jeez, imagine you go through a traumatic experience like that, and when you tell your partner he jumps for joy? Lol.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Certainly would make you feel alone without support.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

....why make a throwaway, though?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

gf has an account

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Why no abortion?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would argue that if you actually talked to her about how you feel you wouldn't need to hide from her.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 4

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

One of use! One of use!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It's not real. You can tell because of the ifunny.co. This is just a stolen repost.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 17

I said it in the comments already, but I made it on iFunny because the workshop is the only way I knew how to put text on a picture.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Like Imgur doesn't have a memecreator since forever ago.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 14

Yeah bc everyone uses it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Which I wasn't aware of until some commenters let me know. I rarely post, let alone make things that require tools.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

They do? Shit iam on mobile. Hmmm fuck it i have an app

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Linkie?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

so y'all didn't have money for an abortion, or she was just too stupid to get one?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 25

maybe you'll think about bc more now. let this be a lesson.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 13

Many women become pregnant even with proper birth control use. 40% of unwanted pregnancies are thanks to birth control failure.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It was literally the week after we had it confirmed by a doctor. We we're still in the "accepting" phase if you will.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

An abortion is an extremely personal choice, so you can fuck right off.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

and by too stupid to get one i mean trying to keep it even though neither of you were ready.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 17

Fuck off guy

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

sorry about the iFunny watermark, I'm not sure how to make one without their create studio, downvote if you must.

I'm not sure why it always links to an image, but copy and paste that URL into your browser... it's Imgur's custom meme generator.

You can use imgur's meme generator, you know. :-P

Hard learning when you're such a hardcore lurker! Thank you.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

its like 3 fucking steps/

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hope you've discovered prophylactics since.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

her birth control failed, but yes, more extensive measured are being taken

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nowadays it's so hard to take that seriously because so many people get pregnant on accident because they don't use protection.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Birth control is supposed to be like 99% effective and with all the people claiming they used b/c, most of them are not part of the 1%

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Don't rely on plan b either. Got a little creepy crawler in my uterus because that failed for me. It's okay though.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In any case, sorry for your loss. Even if it was for the best. I hope you two can pull through together. I know it can be hard on couples.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

thank you <3

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

@OP if you think she's the one and if you don't want kids for the next 3-5 years, I recommend an IUD if possible

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

IUD? (too lazy to google srry)

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Also other long term alternatives like implants.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

An Improvised Uterine Device. The insurgents plant them in vaginas and they explode when you enter.

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

Noooooo! But ya that's how I imagine mine works. (Don't want kids, have a great one already.)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My sister has one and hurt her very badly, though I'd assume everyone's experience is different. Her body tried to menstruate but couldn't,

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

and then she bled for months.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As somebody who has had an IUD i highly do not recommend

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I've had 2 Mirenas over a 10 year span. Mine have worked flawlessly and I have a very light period every few months. Love it.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As some one with one in right now. Super dooper recommend

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I love mine but it's not for everyone. The mini pill for example I hated. Sometimes you have to experiment until you find something you like

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was considering getting one implanted. Why are you unhappy with it?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've had severe pain with the mirena so far, but the blood loss has been really improved. It takes a while to settle in though

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got terrible pains from it where all I could do was curl up in a ball in agony for hours on end. It was a combination of the IUD (1/?)

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

hitting my fallopian tubes and a series of ovainian cysts that I only ever had with the IUD. That and its very painful to get in and (2/3)

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

the next day was very uncomfortable for me as well. If you dont like the pill I recommend the nuvaring. No troubles with that for me (3/3)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've had it for 3.5 years without a single side effect. Definitely recommend the mirena :)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Message me if I can help you out at all!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I recommend condoms next time.

9 years ago | Likes 101 Dislikes 10

I recommended anal.. but apparently he's not gay

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 12

Right...because gay men are the only people who ever have anal sex.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Because condoms never break? Come on now

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

True story; One time I broke on in a country where I didn't speak the language and almost everyone didn't speak mine. It was an... adventure

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

True story; One time I broke on in a country where I didn't speak the language and almost everyone didn't speak mine. It was an... adventure

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This is exactly why I have a daughter in Poland.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Well, I managed to avoid quite exactly that fate. This time.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ditto, we should form a club. That was quite an experience.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What would we call our club? Rubber Breaking Degenerates In Foreign Lands?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I like it. Or maybe Torn Condom Travelers? We could charge membership fees to subsidize Plan B/morning after pills...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

she was on the pill at the time.

9 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 9

Both of my children were conceived while we used birth control and condoms. I think they were meant to be born to do something great.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I was concieved on the pill. So were two of my cousins. So, yeah. That kinda means fuck all tbh. The pill fails often.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well don't cum inside her ?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

Or just don't have sex, easy.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The pill is not effective for someone who weighs more than 150lbs. Just something to consider for all the guys out there.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Double protection hombre

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Our first child was conceived while I was on the pill. Maybe your gf should see about switching to a different type of pill.

9 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

No contraceptive is 100% effective.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

True but since that method failed for them and they don't want kids, it may be worth looking into a new method.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If it failed for them twice, sure. But any of them can fail once, and it doesn't really indicate much.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What did you learn in middle school? Abstinence!

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

For how long? IIRC, it takes 30 days after starting for them to properly take effect. (might be just 7, not sure)

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 6

two years

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

man, I've been on the pill for four years and still get nervous every month

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Still use a condom, I wouldn't trust the pill

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

I wish I could upvote this ten times

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yup, a magic pill aint going to stop a dudes sperm fertilising a stray egg of yours. Wrap it boys if you don't want a baby with crazy.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Not an excuse, the pill is very finicky. Either way you know that now

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 34

The pill isn't finicky and for the record, when used correctly, the pill (estrogen or mini) has higher rates of success than condoms

9 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 3

Actually 40% of women who take the mini pill still ovulate and you NEED to take them at the exact same time every day. I got pregnant on it.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

And the mini pill is less forgiving versus the estrogen-containing pill (but for those of us who can't take estrogen, it's still awesome)

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

But yes, the mini pill is a different beast and I mentioned both separately in my original comment because they have different success rates

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The pill is not finicky. It is the most effective birth control.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

Unless the person taking it is also on antibiotics

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

IUDs and DEPO are shown to be more effective. Although might be because of less chance of user error.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I was afraid of making such an error so I switched from the pill to the IUD. Feel so much more secure plus this sucker lasts up to 10 years!
