This has been reposted so many fucking times. Just put the pics in the directories, name them "Folder.jpg" and stop upvoting this jackasses!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This would have been cool when I was 15, unless I use it for album artwork, this is tacky and childish.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This was really useful the first 5 times it was posted.

I remember when I reposted this. This one always gets at least 10k points. Ol' reliable.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Or you can just use plex without having to look at a folder at all really

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

With almost 2.3 tb of TV shows and movies and no quicker way than to do it file by file... I started 2 months ago still not halfway

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

+1 for potatoes

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It doesn't seem like it'd be so basic. But at the same time, its only basic photo editing, and replacing a thumbnail...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How the fuck do you not know this?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Every herd of plex?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is the free version worth it or do you have to get a subscription?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think it's buy a copy and you get it for life type of deal, less than $10 if I remembered it correctly. Definitely worth it.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Potatoes? Wtf?! Cat tax...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What a fun way way to advertise my porn

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You can go through all of that trouble to put images on folders, but you can't properly give spaces in "Game of Thrones"?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Read as: Game of the Ones

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Seriously? I used to do this when I was a kid, I rather just have stuff organized now. People nowadays don't know how to do anything >.>

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

ppl dumb these days. Spotify and others streaming media have a lot of the fault

Black Books and Community? Did we just become best friends?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The geekier-than-I among us will surely create a convenient template to turn any image we like into one of these things. Im counting on you!

Instructions unclear, deleted system32

9 years ago | Likes 337 Dislikes 5

Lucky... I got my finger cut off by my fan.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Instructions unclear, my PC had taken over my life, is banging my wife and I more popular with my mates than me.

9 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 0

oh Karman, you did it again

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'll never forget the ban waves that went out on a forum cause people said deleting system32 would fix an issue. Those were the days.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Did you Alt+F4 to fix it?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

All of the folders I made are Naruto pictures . How did you make the other ones?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You mean with this I can make it even clearer than I am a weeaboo? I'm not so sure about that...

9 years ago | Likes 98 Dislikes 2

Depends on what you set the folder, better not fill rhe desktop with it

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

A what..?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Huh....So setting each folder to the music album cover makes me a weeaboo? Huh. TIL I guess.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, that really depends on the artist doesn't it? What if I want to use the NARUTO SOUNDTRACK?!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So I can use this in my music folder for album covers?

9 years ago | Likes 220 Dislikes 1

I'm confused. My Windows 10 automatically makes my folders look like the first image in it (which is usually cover.png for music folders)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Creevity. It's free but donations are appreciated.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I believe they aren't going to look like a folder. You have to save that particular image. Otherwise ot will just turn the icon into a pic

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Doesn't mean you can't just erase everything around the cover in paint to give it that folder shape.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Use GIMP because you can copy the image of a folder then use it as a pattern to get the exact same shape out of the image you want.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That is actually a much better idea. Still prefer paint edits for "stupid shit" folders.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If this works as I think it does, you can use it on literally any folder.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Simply rename your cover image to folder.jpg

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's that easy? What about attaching a jpg to an mp3 for certain players? Like my phone?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

folder.jpg and cover.jpg are the default filenames for covers. Attaching cover in ID3 tag is not always necessary.

9 years ago | Likes 0 Dislikes 0

Thank you

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes you can. Alternative you can create a Txt file call it Autorun.ini and put Icon=Icon.ico in to each folder. Then just name it ico

I love learning, especially when it's not how to correct Windows 10 HDD locking at 100%

9 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 1

My windows 8 was doing that yesterday. Pain in the ass

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nothing is worse than trying to figure out how to fix a windows 10 memory leak. It's like a race against time before your shit bluescreens

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

What's the solution for that?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Revert to Windows 7

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Windows 10 is honestly better, if you know how to customize it. Easy fixes for all the complaints.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

does it work on os x?

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Just change folder icon....

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

i think it works :p

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Dude, you should totally try crossfitting!!

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

If you want to change your tray icons you can use LiteIcon. I think you can use that to change the individual folders as well.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I vape

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Yeah but it's a different procedure (obviously). Copy an image to your clipboard and then on a folder right click -> get info and click 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Wait you can right click on Mac?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

you have to change it in you settings. it would be under trackpad

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

did you just wake up from a 17 year coma and decide to go back to your 1999 comedy routine

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That was humor everyone. But I probably should not mix alcohol, lack of sleep, and imgur.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

the folder at the top left and then paste the image. the image you use doesn't have to be any specific resolution.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

(oh and btw this will work with any file, not just folders.)

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I only get the option to drag a picture onto the little folder in the top left, no pasting. And does it need to be a specific kind of file

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

not copy and pasting the image file, open the image in Preview and then do CMD+C. Sorry if that wasn't clear.
