Throwback to last summer at the old house. Nothing but gross Georgia red clay.

Stone terrace planters outside the front door. This spot received full sun all day except for a short while in the evening.

Rich, dark soil full of worms and life

Soooooon...

We are six years into making our yard a jungle of edibles. A recommendation: Nikitas Gift persimmon

Only downside is your yard will attract large numbers of stinging insects.

That's the plan! The other side of the house is getting apple trees. I wanted to plant for the future as soon as I bought it :)

I'm planning on buying a persimmon tree. Ever tried one of those?

Nope I'll have to add it to the list. I have 2.5 acres to work with :)

Many funs to be had! I was going to get one, but the shipping was 1.5X the price of the tree

What side of Dahlonega? We've got a house out near Hwy 9 and 52.

Other side. I moved from near Amicalola over to just off 52 north of 400
