I used to have a lamp by my bed. After the third time being fast asleep and getting nailed in the head with it because of a cat knocking it over in the middle of the night I gave up and put what's left of it away in storage. (the lampshade is kinda mangled and bent now.) maybe someday I'll bring it back out and screw it to the top of the dresser.
Our Cleopawtra has yet to knock anything down whatsoever. If she walks by clutter, glasses whatever, she turns into water/snake mode and carefully avoids. She is PRECIOUS, and so kind.
