My son doesn't have a mom. Tragic I know. But he's got 2 pretty cool dad's. He was really upset no one was going with him.. so my husband figured he could sit in for our son AND my son's best friend who's mom passed away. So he went up to the school, my son's in kindergarten so even though today is Sunday it's an after school type thing.

Anyways when he got there every kid and mom from our sons class was there. Almost everyone was OK with him subbing in except for this one mom (one who reported us for raping our son when in reality we leave the door open while he bathes) refused to share the room with my husband and tried to make him feel guilty for max not having a mom. Causing max (our son) and his best friend to cry.

We took them home (even though the teacher told the other lady off for being rude we didn't want it to be awkward) and we did crafts at home. We made Christmas ornaments and cookies as well as friendship bracelets. All without a mom. Look at that.

I know that mothers are very important. Max has both of us though. He also has 7 aunts and a grandma. I think he'll be alright.

this one mom....Mike Pence?

How dare you be a decent human being and a good father? Take my upvote OP.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have a mom and I've always preferred to be with my dad, he was always more loving to us kids. And I miss him so much

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

The upvote is for you guys, for being awesome dads. CuntyCuntFace gets a downvote to the head.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Im a mam!! And she was a total moran!! You guys are doing awesome! Even been considerate of your sons friend whos mam died!! You guys rock .

As a future teacher I pledge not to allow this to happen in my classroom

what a cunt

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

We need to stop using the word homophobe. They're not scared of "the gays" they're just shitty asshole people.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 7

I mean, the "gays cause tornados" people probably qualify, but for the most part yeah it's not a great term.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Upvoted despite captain twat gif. You do the best by your children. Oh look, you already are. Screw that woman.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

The only problem I see with this story aside from the bigotry is the premature Christmas cookie baking. That is a crime sir! Lol

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wait you made Christmas decorations? In October?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Some kids have foster fathers. Some have only a grandparent etc. Schools have to stop these 'special' parent days.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can only imagine what Bible thumping bullshit that mother teaches HER child at home...

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I am not even religious, but you shouldn't assume because she is religious just because she is homophobic

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

judgemental and probably the worst person on the planet. It makes you seem less unitelligent and even judgey, yourself.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It takes a village to raise a Child. Good parents are massively important, but so is extended family and community.

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 4

I disagree, you only really need one person that gives a shit, more is better obviously but you can turn out fine regardless.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Congrats on providing both.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I was only grown by one single mum and she is both to me, mum and dad. Today I'm a very healthy and successful individual because of her..

Some situations make an assault charge sound okay

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 3

But a cavalry charge sounds better

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

+ there's actual horns to blow in.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

People are assholes. More news at 11.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Christmas ornaments in October? You fucking savages!

Hey man, Christmas is year round!

I just checked, and my entire household says it's OK to beat the living shit out of that woman. (I'm living with 3 females)

9 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 12

Also a female, and would like to second this!

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

Because violence is totally a valid response. ¬_¬

This

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Glad you agree!

9 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

Oh you.... +1

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sorry. But if you can't distinguish pictorial speech for support from an actual encouragement to violence, I apologize ;)

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

Problem is, "pictorial speech" is used far too often and not taken as such nor acted on as such. I understand you, but still, not positive.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Let's hope the school changes the name of this event for next year.

9 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 5

1/3 We held a "Significant Man" event at my son's 0-6yr old parent-run Playcentre, because primarily the mothers attended, but we wanted

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

2/3 Dads to come that day and if kids didn't have a Dad, then they could bring a Grandfather, an uncle or someone else.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

BUT had a woman wished to come for any reason, she would have been welcomed. You're there for the kids, in whatever capacity they need you.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Seriously. My mom hates crafts, but my dad would love this.

9 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

On posts like these I scroll to the bottom to see what comments got the most downvotes

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

And it always ends up being really disappointing... come on humanity! Quit being assholes!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

If Lion King taught me anything, it's that you can be raised by a meerkat and wild boar and still turn out the king of pride rock.

9 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 2

I tried that and almost got killed by the wild boar. Lion king lied :(

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If Disney movies has taught me anything, it's that bad things only happen to you only if you don't believe enough. Ergo believe more damnit!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Probably it. I'll try again and report with results. I feel like Grizzly Man

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd upvote this twice if I could...

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I got you bro, Upvoted it for ya :P

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The only problem I have is......

9 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 3

You try to schedule a Christmas craft in December - NO TIME FOR THAT!

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That it is October and your making Christmas stuff.. for shame.

9 years ago | Likes 59 Dislikes 2

Right there with you Neelm3.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don't act like Christmas doesn't feel like 2 days after Halloween.

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Exactly, thank you.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The concept I will never understand is how being gay is somehow synonymous with pedophilia.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

for some being gay is a step on a slippery slope. Often those people didn't learn to think for themselves, just believe an old book.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Rub it into her face that the friend doesn't have a mom because she fucking died. Let her 'shame on you for not having a mom' comment burn.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

OK:1, why isn't she in jail for making false rape claims, and 2, why wasn't SHE (permanently) kicked out for being verbally abusive to kids?

9 years ago | Likes 708 Dislikes 24

Well, in response to your question about the false rape claims, if you look closely you'll see that OP mentioned that she's a woman.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 17

Your point?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

At #2: Because the whole shit will probably be downplayed as her having "extremely conservative/christian values".

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Can see it now "Devout Christian persecuted by homosexual couple"

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I as well would like answers to questions 1&2.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because people make things up to earn fake points on the internet?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

Because jail is to keep dangerous people away from society while reforming them, not for punishment.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 10

Yeah, that's what lynch mobs are for.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Please.. It's for punishment. They should be for rehabilitation, but they aren't.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That does not answer the question.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Freedom of speech means she can't be criminally tried to saying that. Doesn't mean a civil lawsuit for slander can't be brought to court :)

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 9

Hate speech isn't considered freedom of speech. Or are we not living in the 21st century yet?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Except then you get people calling everything they don't like hate speech in order to silence everyone that doesn't agree with them.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

All I was saying was if she can't go to jail for saying that, then she can definitely be sued.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

If someone was legitimately concerned for the safety of a child I'm glad they reported it even if it turned out they were wrong.

9 years ago | Likes 78 Dislikes 21

Still doesn't change the fact that she was wrong. False rape claims ruin lives while the accuser gets off scot-free.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

i dont think "gay dad" is legitimate concern

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Agreed. But the problem is the lady's logic is homosexual = pedophile and rapist. She doesn't need any further evidence than that.

9 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 4

We dont know that, we dont know anything, we have a simple imgur post as the source of our information.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Yes. If only that were true. She probably heard it was a gay couple and to her that was all the evidence needed

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

I understand in this particular instance the lady is a bigot, but in general you shouldn't be put in jail for reporting possible child abuse

9 years ago | Likes 60 Dislikes 4

There is a clear distinction between reporting possible abuse and reporting someone because you dont agree with their life style/orientation

9 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 3

Yes but it's not possible to prove which one it really is

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's what investigations are for, and yes it is.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

And if you report a simple gay couple then you risk creating a boy how cried wolf situation

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Mmmm... I'd say that's a dangerous thought pattern as well. What if you are a bigot, see some crime taking place, and report it, but the(1)

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

(2) response is "Yeah, we know you don't like those people, so we don't believe you", and the crime continues? It should still be lookedinto

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

@OP - Hey, can't say I ever had a dad, but I'm fine. As long as you're a good parent and love unconditionally, your genitals don't matter.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

You need to either report that woman to the administration or find your kid a new school. Her behavior is not acceptable.

9 years ago | Likes 1823 Dislikes 36

Dude I feel bad for the poor sperm-blossoms she's raising. Those kids are gonna be fucked up when they're older.

9 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 3

9 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

No. He needs to tel her that he wants to change his ways...but believes only the kiss of a woman might bring him back. From her. 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Take pics and send to her husband. Destroy her life. Menacing laughter muawahahaha. 2/2

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Agree, its ok that you hate some people, but if you have to make someone else miserable for your beliefs. Then you're a Piece of shit.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Why would you leave the school because of one homophobic mom? The teacher took his side so the school sounds fine.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Daughter of lesbians here, I got my school to rewrite policies for this kind of thing.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The school can't do anything about one kid's mom not liking the parents of another kid. The best they can say is "work it out yourselves".

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It is a good thing that the teacher told her off, but the teacher also should have told her to leave.

Dave.. you're a monster

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't even understand your thought pattern for this

Cuz the mom reported @OP for raping his kid when in reality they leave the door open during bathtime

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 9

Wow y'all are sensitive

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

what did he say?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He said something along the lines of "butt pound her kid out of spite"

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

What was the comment?

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

He said the gay dad's should fuck the mean mom's daughter, as a form of punishment to the mom. Not those words, but that was the message.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Honestly, I'd go outside the school system and get a lawyer involved.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 6

What's a lawyer gonna do? People are allowed to hate gays just as much as a person is allowed to be gay.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

False rape claims?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They aren't however allowed to cause undo emotional harm to the child nor the parent. If prove of damage can be shown they could be legally

You're wrong @OP. Mothers aren't very important. PARENTS are very important. Mother, father, wildebeest. Loving your kid is what matters.

Is this what they teach in college now?

My mom chose drugs instead of raising us. I think my dad did a pretty fantastic job. In my book, dads are wayyyy better than moms.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mom's still around, but I grew up with Dad, who was later joined by other dad. I'm so fucked up, I'm almost normal. (Thanks mom.)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Clarification: Mom is the reason I'm fucked up at all.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Amen!

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Tarzan did pretty well for himself...all things considered.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

but a wildebeest would have to be a mom or dad, no?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

While you can't ignore the differences between the genders, what's most important is that you're not being shitty to the kid.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yeah. One kid was raised by a dragon. You guys see that documentary?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

love you mom, dad, wildebeest mom, wildebeest dad

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ok it's great that this kid has two loving parents in their life but to say that mothers aren't important is stupid.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Apache Attack Helicopters pre-surgery?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

I feel like a mother figure is really important but yeah def doesn't have to be a woman

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Or a mother, having an amazing grandma Will do the trick too

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Which would be a mother figure. I completely agree

9 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 1

also stabilty varies depending on kid's view on family and life(if the kid thinks having 2 dads won't make a stable life... yeah, there goes

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

all the positivity, even though it is fault of no one pretty much, the kid will learn)

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

See, my parent loved me and they still did a pretty good job of fucking us all up.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dude. I have a seven year old son. He shit all over the place for years after being born!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I love my wildebeast of a mothet

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This, so much this, from someone who has two pretty shitty parents. I'd take two loving dad's any day.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I grew up with my grandparents. No Dad, mother worked nights. Love is the most important thing. Doesn't really matter how it's packaged.

9 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 1

Dude you can't say stuff like that. The wildebeests killed Mufasa, a father who loved his son.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wildebeest... i'll just laugh myself to sleep.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sometimes in life you work with what you got and sometimes "what you got" is a hell of a lot better than what you don't.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I can't understand a "moms only" or "dads only" event at a school.

Not really.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 5

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 7

Wat

You done said it

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

yeah, outside of the immunities passed on via breastfeeding, two dads is all good

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 20

JIC you were unaware, those immunities are passed to the child through the birth canal, but you knew that right?RIGHT? ignorant.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

I was born lactose intolerant but you seem to just be intolerant and stupid.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

You seem to have missed the point I was making

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A decent amount of kids WITH mothers aren't breastfed. And since kids aren't dying off in large numbers, I don't think it's an issue.

9 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

I was born lactose intolerant so that dumb milk at all costs would have literally killed me.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yeah, I wasn't trying to make out that it WAS a big deal, but I think a couple of people took it the wrong way. I was just pointing out 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

that is literally the only problem, and not a big enough reason to disallow it. 2/2

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

Gotcha. Totally understand what you mean now.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think op had a point though. Having female influences in your life is important. But it doesnt have to be a mother

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 6

That's sexist bullshit. Parenting is parenting. You don't need male and female parenting.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 7

Wat

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I just said influences. I'm agreeing with op. They said that the kid has a grandma and aunts for influences, which is more than enough imo.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mothers and Fathers play important roles in nurturing offspring. There always will be areas where it is not a seemless transition to LGBT.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 10

Get your antiquated sexist/homophobic bullshit back in the 20th century where it still wouldn't belong.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 4

So, you do not agree that Mothers and Fathers play important roles? Why bother trying to get orphans adopted? LGBT are forced to find (1)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

ways to compensate... This is common knowledge and was even stated by OP when talking about Aunts and Grandmas... it's compensating..

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Hey im sorry but gay People are usually the best parents a kid could wish for they had to move mountains to get a child they're amazing!

9 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 9

Yeah, for the most part the US adoption system is rigorous/litigious enough to weed out the crappy parents.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

They stand out because they usually have to fight hard to have a child in their home. Whether it be through custody battle or adoption. >

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

> That makes it easy to realize their place as the parent.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah I'm intimidated from being a father because of NPH and his partner (husband?) being way cooler parents than I ever could be.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0
