One of the greatest movies I've seen. Special effects crew was like 5 people. They did an awesome job.

Hey it’s Short Round!

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've seen this movie. Can you imagine watching this while totally stoned, or high on shrooms?

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes, unfortunately

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Rented this from the library totally at random and was so surprised how much I truly loved it. Worth watching multiple times IMO

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

And the dad is short round from Indian jones

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I love this movie!

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I have seen this three times, and will see it again.

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

This movie was a FUCKING TRIP. I need to rewatch it.

3 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 1

Yes we do.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The old dog-weapon / orange soda / hibachi fight cleché.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Awesome movie. 10/10 hot dog fingers.

3 years ago | Likes 420 Dislikes 4

Is this the Fuckhands McMike prequel origin story?

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Amazon Prime currently have this movie but that may depend on your country.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Moment when you draw with AI art generator

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Bringing the hot dog hands back around for a plot point was fucking magical

Literally made me reevaluate my top 5 fav movies of all time. This movie was unbelievable.

3 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Between the fanny pack nunchucks, SWAT shield advertisement spinning, and the cannonball buttplug dive, I had forgotten the puppy flail.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Really good movie

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This film had one of the most tender and emotional scenes I’ve ever seen and it involved two sentient rocks.

3 years ago | Likes 183 Dislikes 0

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I cried at that scene.

3 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0

Me too. And the sausage fingers universe.

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Same.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hot dog fingers made you cry? Hot dog fingers made me cry.

3 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

The most emotionally crushing relationship dynamic is also the silliest part of the movie. I love the Daniels.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Fancy dressed in an alley with inventor Goonie was my scene

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Ty for bringing back the pirate VHS experience

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

This movie was epic!

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

By far the best new movie I've seen this year. Exciting, funny, heartfelt, complex. 100% recommended.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I absolutely love this movie!

3 years ago | Likes 161 Dislikes 1

My jaw was on the ground the whole time ?

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I found it too weird to really be enjoyable, but I applaud the effort. On the other hand (without sausages) my wife left after 30min.

3 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 2

As in like no dick?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’ll take this guy’s wife. I couldn’t finish it either.

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

It's the closest I've ever seen to showing what my ADHD is like. Unfortunately the rocky relationship with the mother is also correct

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Yeah we as a family bailed on it about halfway through. Was not enjoyable.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I finally watched this movie last weekend and can now say it deserves all the praise it gets and more. Absolutely fantastic.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I've had this movie on my watch list for a bit. Looks like I'm gonna need to bump it up!

3 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

Same

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's better than you think, even now. The screen with the rocks...

3 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

That's exactly how I feel even after watching it twice. It's better than you think.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yes! I also had it on my list for ages and finally saw it last weekend. It is absolutely amazing, and I loved every minute of it!

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's easily the best film of the year

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Decade for me. Even just 2 years into the decade, I'm pretty confident.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Any idea what platform it’s on (if any)?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

excellent movie. saw how high it was rated, and the curiosity overtook me. most recent movies arent rated over 7. anything 8 & up is 1/

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

is basically a timeless classic, as i think this one will be

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

You're TV's auto motion setting is on, it makes movies look like soap operas. Better to turn it off and keep the natural, cinematic 24 fps.

3 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 4

arent movies digitally filmed in 60fps now?? even in theatres is not an actual roll of film at 24fps anymore......

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Not always, 24fps is still a cinematic standard. Even if the movie is shot at higher frame rates the final piece will be 24fps. In the best films, each frame is a work of art. You can't appreciate the art at 60fps. 60fps is better for video games. But if you're making or viewing art. 24fps is the way to go.

More multiversal madness than the Multiverse of Madness

3 years ago | Likes 247 Dislikes 3

And to think the Russo brothers were involved with both.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And the plot makes much more sense too!

3 years ago | Likes 58 Dislikes 3

I have no idea how it was even remotely possible to keep up with what the hell was happening in this movie. That alone is a masterstroke.

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I was upset that dr strange had like 3 actual universes in it.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

ah yes, multiverse of America Chavez standing there doing nothing, until Dr. Strange says. "B.. BelievE" and then she believes and wins.

3 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

doctor strange in that one other universe for a bit.

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Is that Jenny Slate? I find her oddly attractive.

3 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 7

This was a pretty banner year for her, Marcel the shell did well too.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

She is attractive, nothing odd about it.

3 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 5

It's odd to people conditioned to only find mainstream plastic attractive.

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 5

I find her attractive. But I don’t think it’s odd.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

She is the WOOOOOOOORST!

3 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

Funny ladies are attractive, nothing odd about it. My forever crush is Tina Fey.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Heck yah! She’s a Hottie McTottie

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

She is a great actress, that’s for sure. I hated her in parks and rec

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I loved to hate her in parks.

And the woman from crouching Tiger hidden dragon

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Put some fucking respect on Michelle Yeoh's name, peasant. She's been kicking ass since the early 80's.

3 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

So, so much ass-kicking and just deeply expressive too, she's amazing.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I really liked this movie. Sadly nobody I've recommended it to has bothered watching longer than the dry cleaner saying its boring.

3 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 0

I've heard of short attention spans, but this is ridiculous. You need to find some better people. Like us weirdos here, hooraaay!

3 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

You know what must be done then... double dildo beatings.

That's a really boring synopsis for a very exciting movie

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I mean, if you don't want to spoil a single second of anything exciting that happens in the movie, that's basically what you get.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's why you look at reviews, not synopsises if you want to decide whether to watch.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I guess bayformers is more up their alley

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

So I'm out of the loop, what's the name of the film?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Never mind, just read OP's post!

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Have they never seen a movie before that takes 10 minutes of setup to actually get going?

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It takes far longer than 10 minutes

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Maybe. Didn't feel like it.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This clip makes me not want to watch it even before I found out it's very slow to start

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What, you're against fictional animal abuse for the sake of an absurd visual gag?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Didn't expect a movie with Chekov's buttplug to make me cry like it did.

3 years ago | Likes 809 Dislikes 1

One of my top 3 movies now. It's very nearly perfect.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"Chekov's buttplug" I've only seen the first scene in this movie, so it took me a minute to understand what this must mean.

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

And I didn't expect a Gozu reference https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKKsvc1aW4U&t=10s&ab_channel=HanLow

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I... Didn't know I'd made one?

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And *I* didn't know you directed this movie. Good job!

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oooooooh ? I was an idiot and thought you were talking about my comment. I'm not all there in December.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i just started giggling furtiously again, remembering that

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Reminds me of Interesting Ball (a short on Netflix). Surprisingly poignant for a film that involves a guy sucking another guy into his anus

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Isn't that just the plot of the DBZ Cell Saga?

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

You... You... Are technically... Right?!?

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

;D

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd say it's the only movie I've ever seen with that level of tonal whiplash that I'd still consider great.

3 years ago | Likes 103 Dislikes 0

I could’ve sworn it was going to be a throwaway joke, but it really reared great results

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah in the end it was one of the best

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I cried like abitch with the rocks

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The googly eyes certainly made me laugh.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Please tell me that's not a Star Trek sex toy.

3 years ago | Likes 70 Dislikes 1

It’s not a Star Trek sex toy

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Are you sure? I mean.... it does boldly go....

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes, but many men have gone before

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Given the premise of the movie that is unlikely - the more like his normal behavior it was the less effective it would have been.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The other Chekhov. The playwright

3 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 0

Oh ffs speech to text missed the "H". (Though honestly surprised it got it all I swear it doesn't like my voice).

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

"to boldly go where no man has gone before" would be a good name for such a toy
