You mean you found the Kolibri from real life? Battlefront 1 is actually based on real events believe it or not
benziegler
I'm attempting to service star it. I'm at 45 kills
WiFiChaser
Has anybody else noticed they wrote "centrefire" instead of "centerfire"?
aerbyt
Kolibri, in Russian, means hummingbird.
MadCarbon
Need to point out, it's not "from" Battlefield 1.
aMassiveMurderousDick
Most people's knowledge of this gun "is" from Battlefield 1.
I know but it's a shame. Interesting in its own right.
NerdN1
No accuracy or stopping power and it was difficult to reload because of the bullet size. For some reason it never really caught on.
Sneemaster
I'm just waiting for a comment comparing OP and this gun size.
Wuhaa
Small but can leave a sore hole?
ProfSpoonerism
Wait no longer.
TemetNosce000
Don't talk to me, my son, or my grandson ever again
BuddhasBodyguard
It was a Kolibri BEFORE Battlefield 1. My stepson when I showed him my Garand: "HEY! From Call Of Duty." "No, from fucking World War II."
McEasy
It's almost like the game was based on true events or something!
MrsFartSimpson
Oh, that's why I can't kill anyone.
SquiggleBerries
Quick! Someone get the BF1 gif of this thingy!
JonSnowNotedWindmillExpert
"....and would be dangerous if thrown or ingested."
orangechrusch
Use in combination with the martini-henry. Shoot them with the kolibri after a hit and watch your enemy die a second time from embarrassment

What was the name of the museum? Because I think I have been there.
It's the Royal Armouries in Leeds, UK
LaurenBlackFox
Oh man, I used to live near there. Is a good museum ^__^
Yes, I have been there. Fantastic museum, thank you OP!
Copperdragon
Ah yes, the Kolibri, for when you're hunting mosquitoes or aggressive mice.

Imperial war museum?
KlatuuVeratuNnnnndamnit

I shouldn't be upset because it's a common error but I'm upset because the "from battlefield 1" like no it's from that era not the game
FunkyH
I have no idea why you are upset. It's a rare gun that no one would have heard of, if not for BF1.
Plenty of people would have heard about it had they wanted to learn about the many weapons of the era. You know, research
TheDootMeister
I agree, it's so annoying, since the gun came first and not the game
DinoKebab
Prove it.
As in the text above, the gun came from Germany in around 1920, and battlefield came later
SweatyNuN
Pretty sure Battlefield 1 was released in 1915 dude. Jeez get your facts right.

"mm caliber"
Cheomesh
Yeah, you can measure caliber in mm as well as in. Could do it in cubits if you like.
Maybe it's just an American thing not to say "caliber" when it's in mm. For example it would be 10mm or .40 caliber, but not 10mm caliber.
You'd be correct. Go back far enough even in the US and you'll see references to like .38 inches caliber.
How would they say that out loud, "point three eight inches caliber?" I can see why we switched.

Still trying to unlock that sucker

I only use it in combination with the martini Henry because in close quarters you're basically going to do at least 90 damage
5700
Which classes have it?
SirDeadlock
You unlock it by using the scout class. After that you can use it with any class.
Xbox one? FiftySevenShots

It's only real use is humiliation. It's a pathetic gun but everyone rages like hell when they get killed by one
Yesssss gooooooood. Let the hate flow through you.....haha cant wait to unlock it!
I'll be the first to warn you that you're gonna rage a few times yourself trying to get a kill with it lol
IICIWH
How many shots does it take to kill a player with full hp?
More than one mag. Even all headshots
fatguyinnalittlecoat
Pair it with a bolt action and aim for center mass. You'll usually do 80 - 90 damage. Finish them with the kolibri and witness the rage.
ManlyMuffins
Unlocked Martini-Henry and Kolibri at the same time. Did this all night
