For those of you who don't know me (@MartynMage) I started the Imgur Secret Santa back in 2013. Over the years this event has grown to an incredible level with over 33,000 people participating back in 2017.
Registration is open until November 28th, with matches going out the morning of December 3rd. There's an extended period between these two dates there so that matching can be done perfectly!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in the comments below. Or tag me in any posts you may want to make. This year the whole event is not solely run by myself, but all members of the community team are involved!

If I remember correctly we logged into the portal on the gifting site and it showed the address but now it’s gone when I log in.

To request a backup in 2017 you signed in and requested one, every user who did this was assigned a backup gifter, sorry if it wasn’t clear

The Gov't might force them back to work but there is still a 30 day MINIMUM backlog. It will only get worse as it gets closer to December.

Qc gov forced the state jurists back to work after a 4-month strike. They got less than they asked & each be charged $500/extra strike day.

Tip: use flat rate if you can or use first class mail which is usually super cheap and just takes an extra day or two to ship.

be mindful of the WEIGHT of your gifts...first class mail only goes up to like 13 oz. That doesn't take much...

Not for international, it's the international shipping that's so expensive. And for us in small countries national isn't a good option.

Not necessarily. Maybe check what is considered a letter, they are surprisingly cheap and big. I paid €7 for sending my gifts.
