You can see the run way has a curve. That's actually how you're supposed to do it

Damn landing with wind shear is a bitch

Is that the plane from the 'carrying Germany' meme?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why did I hear low rider by war playing?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why is noone talk8ng about that bent ass runway what the fuck

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thats neat and all but it would be 100 times better if he only bounced one direction before showing the plane go back the other direction.

seeing that massive rudder flapping around is terrifying

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Isn't that the same airline that accidentally taxied one off the ramp during pilot training, or was it on acceptance from Airbus?

Thx

Amazing how in the beginning it looks like it's just floating down rather than moving forward

7 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's partly due to the long focal length of the lens used

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That must be some massive crosswinds, usually an A380 is rock steady even in winds where other planes abort the landing.

7 years ago | Likes 99 Dislikes 1

Yeah, OP's mom farted.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Nah winds fine, pilot just wanted to leave some sick rubber tracks

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Could it have been a stress test? Do they do shit like that with new plane designs?

7 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Not in the livery of an airline. That one is Emirates.

There is a huge debate on the Internet what really happened during that touch down. But my 5 cents is that the pilot over-corrected a tad.

7 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 0

I know nothing about planes but that looks really similar to when you veer a touch too sharply with a car at high speed, so I agree.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Landed in a crab, causing instability and turning, overcorrected. Watch the rudder.

7 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I'll make it a dime, and say I agree. The way the plane fishtail back and forth looks similar to the way a car would when one overcorrects.

Pilot induced oscillation. Though that would imply the pilot is flying and that's not really feasible on an airbus ;-)
