Flight after flight after flight

I can't help but adding creaky castle/fortress door noises in my head.

That shoulder pop tho

All i could think of is "i hope she wont catch her hair in that"

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The best part of the compilation is the hairtoss and shrug at the end of the first clip. The remaining clips are cut too early for the flex.

Vanna Flight

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Dunno where this is but when I was a flight attendant the guys outside were meant to help shut the door as it kills your back 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Not that they always did it was a pain in the arse to do. You'd be like 'can you help?' and they just stand there ?

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Comes from being treated as low man on the totem pole by everyone else at that airline.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And she does it in heels! I don't think I could do it in heels.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I don't know how flight attendants do it, they're practically babysitters for adults and worse, for large groups of adults

5 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 0

Often drunk or Xanexed out because they’re “scared to fly”

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They're babysitters for large groups of adults and adult babies with no escape for multiple consecutive hours, while having to be polite...

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Yep. They have patience of saints. I can't imagine smiling so much after babyeing people for 11 hours.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You people are strange and thirsty, but this is genuinely impressive. I couldn't do that in heels.

5 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 5

Somehow i dont find it surprising at all that men are atrractred to an attractive woman, how are you,m

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 4

I too am attracted to attractive women. The fact that you think I'm not because I'm commenting on her skill is funny to me.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Aircrafts door really dont need much strenght to close or open. They are enginereed in that way in case of an emergency

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That door in the 2nd clip looks a bit unhinged...

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Boeing doors. They’re the worst.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

*frantically smashing call button*

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

Neat?

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Seems shutting door requires some decent amount of efforts. Why don't they make it button press open and close?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Depends on the aircraft. Airbus doors have a button and are really easy to close. Boeing doors are a bitch.

I’ll be honest I just watched the booty. Is she on a plane?

Socks in sandals passenger in the early seconds seals it. She’s on a plane. That’s enough evidence and how long I’m willing to look away

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not that I'm complaining, but seriously do they need to work in high heals?

5 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 1

Those are not very high and many models can make them comfortable to work in.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes. Its essential!

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Shhh!

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They change into flats after takeoff. But heels and makeup are required when walking thru the terminals and greeting people boarding.

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

They're required to usually. Also usually made to wear pantyhose and are regulated on hair colors, styles, and makeup!

5 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Singapore Airlines have to confirm to height, weight, proportions

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well that's all airlines. You have to be able to reach the luggage spaces and be fit enough in case if emergency. Its physically demanding.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No as in you have to be a certain ratio of bust/waist etc. Singapore Airlines stewardesses have a very uniform look. It's an industry issue

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm asking why they are required. Is it for passenger boners or is there some utilitarian function to them that makes their job easier?

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Real question is are men required to wear them? If not why not? Can they if they want to?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Most likely answer is no to both. The restrictions on both body standards are usually quite strict.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

First one. "Standards" of what a flight attendant is supposed to look like.

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Boners then. Thanks :)

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That looks pretty labor intensive to do in heels. One would think this was an automated process, TIL.

5 years ago | Likes 637 Dislikes 6

no reason to add complexity to something that important.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They are a lot easier to close than they are to open. It's common just about everywhere, that I know of, for the gate agent to open the door

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why add a motor which adds weight and a potential mechanical point of failure when you can make someone you already hired do it manually?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

if it wasn't clear, this is sarcasm, I feel like there must be a better way to handle these doors.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Some airbuses (a380) are and different regulators (FAA vs GCAA, etc) will have different protocols for who opens/closes doors. They 1/2

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Aren’t super heavy but awkward especially if you’re a smaller female and if you mess it up you have to open it again which requires 2/3

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

More time and a checker, etc. A lot of being a FA is lifting heavy galley containers so you learn to move your body so you won’t get hurt

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The more parts you add, the more possible points of failure you create. If it ain't broke, don't fix it I guess.

5 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Automation is great when a failure only means you don't get that cup of coffee. No so great if you can't get out of a burning plane.

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

A LOT of time has been spent removing unnecessary weight from airframes. I assume this is why you don't see this automated on more planes.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Less weight means more cargo that they can charge for.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Less weight means lower fuel cost

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The Airbus doors are really easy to close. Not sure why she’s over exaggerating.

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 33

She's using good form. Reducing the risk of back injury.

5 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Maybe cause she's a smaller woman who's not as strong. Sometimes people are different...

5 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 3

Missed the part where I said easy.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

How dare you bring logic and consideration into this discussion!

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

What kind of monster would do something like that *grasps pearls*

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

You two done sucking each other off?

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Or uniforms that don't require skirts and heels

5 years ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 1

It entirely depends on the airline. Some have strict codes. So have a range of different uniform types.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I would be surprised to learn that they couldn't wear flats, but not THAT surprised, I guess.

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Many times I've seen them change shoes during service. The heels are just for appearances on boarding

5 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I’ve seen plenty of female flight attendants in slacks before.

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Fun fact, they need to remove heels when flying for safety reasons.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah don't the safety instructions say remove heels before going down the slide. Wouls make sense that staff weren't in heels to begin with

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

That sounds reasonable. So why do they have to wear heels at all?

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Because it looks sexy, adds to the allure of flying with the airline.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Yeah. But it shouldn't

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Old fashioned sexist dress codes that dinosaurs refuse to change.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I work for an airline in Australia. We have the person on the outside close the door as its less strain on the body

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Same here (Canadian airline). We never shut the door, it’s done by maintenance from the outside.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

as someone who has survived the downturn to another

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The requirement for heels is bullshit. But the door is largely counterbalanced with springs. Some older styles were fully motorised.

5 years ago | Likes 220 Dislikes 3

They only wear heels only before the flight depart, I had never seen them wear heels on the flight, as my experience.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah. Worked on B737 and its super light. I would imagine Airbuses are easier

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's a requirement??? Why? To perk the gluts? There's no reason for heels in most work settings. They're inefficient and create liabilities.

5 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 2

Wait wait wait. The OLDER ones were fully motorized?

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Yes, but they were removed in order to reduce weight and complexity.

5 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Ah.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Must be murica. As a frequent flier all over Europe nobody wears heels. Tinyones if at all.

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

From what I'm reading, flight attendants aren't required to wear heels on the plane, just while walking through the airport.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That could very well be. Looks nice as a dude but still...come on. Forcing such rules ain't right.

5 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

For sure, you gotta take care of your feet and comfy shoes go a long way towards keeping them from getting thrashed

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Hold on, flight attendants are required to wear heels?

5 years ago | Likes 66 Dislikes 0

That is both ridiculous and dangerous!

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What about male flight attendants. Do they have to wear heels too?

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Not in any civilized country.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not safe esp in times of turbulence or impending crash, it doesn't give 1 edge to move faster or get hold of oneself or body control is hard

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes. And wear make up. Some airlines even say which color lipstick you have to wear. It's ridiculous

5 years ago | Likes 88 Dislikes 1

How about Brazilian wax?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That you have to check for yourself.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also stricter airlines have lists of approver haircuts and colors. Almost everything about the aesthetics requirements is bullshit.

5 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 1

Pretty sure all service jobs like that have levels of aesthetic requirements or restrictions. Makes sense to me, company is it's image.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Might be a sex discrimination lawsuit there.
