And it's not as powerful, because bears have much stronger senses than Humans so it doesn't need to be as potent.

That is not generally true. Majority of sprays intended for defense against humans are in the range of .5-1.4% major capsaicinoids. Bear sprays are 1-2%. Most are 2%. Varies by jurisdiction, YMMV. Most places, if I say, "I'll kick you in the fork anjeleyezjr!", that's assault, jail. If I punch you, even push you gently, that's assault, jail, worse charge. Been in a couple of altercations with other white rednecks where they were VERY careful not to "assault" me. (I was also clearly armed, so again, YMMV.) Cops came after my MAGA neighbor called them on me. Only words I had were that no threats were exchanged, nothing else to say. Closed the door on them.
