If there is a god, it has also abandoned the USA.

The Holocausts happened to the Russians and Chinese. Both countries lost between 20 to 30 million people each. And after the war Mao caused the death of 45 million Chinese. Those are Holocausts. There are too many other examples of more than 6 million deaths happening. All are beyond words but the one and only Holocaust didn't happen to the Jews. Yet none of these other tens of millions are put on the same pedestal as are the Jews and that's grossly disrespectful to the victims.

Is this the same thing people think that musk is doing to jews?

This is my favorite joke, except when I tell it I tell the joke in the middle that the guy tells: "How do you get a woman's number at Auschwitz? You ask her to roll up her sleeve." That's the way I heard it originally.

Look, when the world looks like shit, that's the time to get to work. We all have to get to work. We can't let this kind of nonsense stand. We can't let this happen again, and it's happening right in front of us.

I don't know what to do, but I'm gonna find out

Intelligenzaktion?!?! The fuck!

But there is no god. Nothing is watching us. There is no rhyme or reason. There is no lesson. Only pain and then oblivion.

That hits

There is no god.

No God … obviously

The Nazis are the ones who will be begging for forgiveness.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Kinda' missing the author's point, don't you think?

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This is why video games where you kill god are awesome. YHVH is a fucking tyrant and heaven is the *real* hell.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

If any swine tells you NAZIs were Socialist ... they INSURED their Death Camps with private insurance companies. What could be more Capitalist?

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Of course there's no God. But even if there was, don't be a little bitch and blame him because of free will. Say what you want about the Jews, but they learned that lesson when they armed themselves with nukes in Israel and adopted a "screw with us, we'll do twice as bad". And the whole pushing the indigenous people off their land thing...well, as an America, how can I condemn them. Hell, we're right in the middle of another race war and over 1/2 the country is cool with it. Life lessons people.

I dont understand your downvotes, because I completely agree with your statements.

The grace of God has always paled to the horrors of humanity.

1 year ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 9

Eh god has plenty of genocides under his belt. Even with instructions in the bible a few times on the "proper" way to do it.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And that's just the Bible! But humanity still has a more than comfortable lead on horrors against other humans.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's because only one of those is real.

Exactly

1 year ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

If there's a god, then logically it would have to incorporate every part of the universe and all existence, including each and every one of us. We're the gods of our own lives. Get out there and act like it.

They're the same person, according to the group that brought me up. Which means he's equally culpable no matter how you slice it.

My favorite part is when Jesus goes to hell and gets everyone who *would have* been washed free from sin, except they died before his sacrifice. Way to tie up loose ends.

In the Bible Jehova often allowed the israelites to be killed and enslaved. Often times to teach them a lesson lest they dare to pick up sticks on a Saturday or dance around a statue.

Well when your God is just a famous caanite warrior who became a storm God before becoming the pantheon head and then deciding he wants his own cult. Doesn't seem so much like a God as a prideful warrior who people let manipulate there fear into obedience...

In fairness, Moses left them for ten minutes to go have a face to face with actual god in person, and when he came back they'd already made up a new god to worship instead

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

In fairness it’s a made up story

The original "God is great" is ancient, but the idea of God being omnipotent is a pretty recent development, akin to Superman getting more powerful the longer the comic book series goes on. If there is a God, it's quite reasonable and consistent with older Scripture that God wanted to put a stop to the Holocaust, but it was just too big, too backed by powerful modern tech, and too far from God's power base back in His specific valley in the Holy Land, for Him to do anything about it.

Comparing two fictional characters together. Priceless.

I’m from NZ and my ancestors were there thanks.. men on all sides of my family tree went to WW1 and WW2 to help free the world from tyranny.

I think the commenter wasn't trying to take kudos, rather trying to point out the frightening juxtaposition between those historical actions and the way America seems to be now a hotbed for increasingly emboldened facists. But I'm sure you being a condescending pick is really adding to the discourse regardless.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

the first part of your comment made sense, and then you managed to fuck it up by being what you accuse me to be with the last sentence. bravo.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Translation: what you said makes sense but I have a visceral reaction to any criticism.
