I can't die right now. It's just bad timing.

Stranger Than Fiction

As someone that may die from cancer this year, I'm absolutely using this meme whenever someone asks me to do something.

Under-rated movie....

What a great movie that was!

Me waiting to find out if I have a brain tumor.

His best role was as Pearl's tenant.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

One of my favourite movies

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

@op U good?

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Felt exactly that when things started to go black a few times during a heart attack a few years ago... Startled me right back up!

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So weird that i watched this yesterday for the second time in a long time. Great movie imo.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What's the chances of this turning up when I'm feeling like that

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hope you're not dying m8.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I fuckin love this movie

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

This is actually my favorite movie

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I’ve considered this my favorite movie for quite some time. I have a lot of favorites… if that’s how it works. But this one is a dime

3 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

That's cool. You deserve some flours

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I really like that movie

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

It's this and Megamind, those are the only two movies I can stand him in.

3 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Only Megamind for me...

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I remember enjoying Everything Must Go as well, but that was over a decade ago

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As someone who has died twice (so far), I just have to say that the timing is very rarely right.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm up to 1.5 times. There's no good timing for that.

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Would you like some flours?

3 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Best line!

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This was filmed at my university. Those grey concrete beams was the whole aesthetic at UIC for decades. They modernized it now.

3 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 0

Also filmed at River City, the most optimistic brutalist building ever.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That building just looks so sad from the street now. Still looks wonderful from the river though, which I guess was the intention.

Stranger Than Fiction (2006) in case anyone was wondering

That line truly was a punch in the guts.

3 years ago | Likes 197 Dislikes 0

That entire movie was a punch in the gods. Reminded me of the Majestic with Jim Carrey

3 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Thank you for reminding me of that movie. I now have it scheduled for tonight's family movie night

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would also recommend the Truman show. Jim Carrey really showed his Flair for dramatic acting in both of those movies

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh I've not forgotten that one. It had goofiness in it, which kept it on my radar for multiple viewings, but Majestic was more serious

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Agreed.

@OP, you are amazing! Thank you for this! I had no idea you made this : v

3 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

I did a whole bunch from this movie. They're in my recent posts if you want more!

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

If you're still making them, and taking requests, "I got you flours" would be a good one.

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Probably his best movie

3 years ago | Likes 491 Dislikes 4

I was just thinking yesterday he ought to play a serial killer or something in a tense thriller. I bet he'd nail it.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Winter Passing! I love that one too.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

correction: his ONLY good movie

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 7

I'm not a fan of Ferrell movies, but Taladega Nights had me crying laughing.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Have you seen everything must go

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

He was good for sure but I think Rain man must've been more challenging

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Was talking about will

Dont you just love that. Its like an inside reference and the game is to see how long till one of us cracks and says the name of the title.

Darude - Sandstorm 2 Sandy

3 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 10

Assuming you mean Ferrell, I'd agree. And I think it's because it's not a "Will Ferrell movie", in the sense that he didn't also write. 1/2

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

He's clearly a talented comedian, but when he writes jokes for himself it's just too much. In the same sense that Adam Sandler is 2/3

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

clearly talented, but his best films are all written, directed, produced by other people. 3/3

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

couldn't agree more

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I feel like this is the only movie where he actually acts and he's not just being a screaming idiot for 90mins.

3 years ago | Likes 141 Dislikes 8

Thank you! Been saying this for the last decade.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The Lego Movie...no seriously. Another one of his few dramatic roles, and he's amazing.

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

He has awesome scenes in Megamind, too. Wish he did more "grounded" characters.

3 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 1

I think The Other Guys has a really nice balance between this and his usual entertaining but empty stuff

And it was a great deconstruction of copaganda and a indictment on the focus on drug/gang crime vs. white collar crime in popular media.

3 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Everything Must Go is definitely up there, for me

3 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 1

That movie hit a little too close to home

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I’m a huge Carver fan, but his stories tend to be pretty harsh like that.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That one makes me look at myself in a way film doesn't usually do.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Best Drama 100%. This movie made appreciate him even more. Not to mention, I am in love with her after seeing this. Can’t explain it.

Have you seen The Shrink Next Door?

3 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Scary

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

no hetero but he is kinda cute in a goofy fun kinda way

3 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Didn’t he win sexiest actor alive at some point?

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He's really only got a couple comedies that I like so for me this is probably his best

3 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Not arguing, just sharing my opinion. To be honest, I’ve never seen a movie with him (as a main character) that I didn’t like.

3 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

He seems like a nice person, but his typical character / humor just grates on me. Just too dumb by like 20%. Better when dialed back.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Kind of like Jim Carey. Full on Jim Carey is annoying. But he can actually act and do great work.
