But, the only remotely machinisty machine there is a laser cutter? That doesn't make you a machinist.

I meant if he ever expanded and was looking to hire one. Obviously having the equipment would be a prerequisite

Fair enough, but in this case you would be a machinist employed as a laser operator. Laser operators are not machinists.

Well I have equipment I havent moved in for milling and cutting aluminum which I use to do but now I have a good 3d printer
