Take the offer.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1000000000000000000000 Rubles then

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean they can turn around and resell them. Fucking Ukrainians really know how to do business.

Wait what if i steal a plane will i also receive 1 million?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"get out of prison free" card of I've ever seen one

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Helicopters are aircraft. So does that mean they get 1.5 mil?

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

How do they surrender before getting shot down?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hope this is wildly successful.

4 years ago | Likes 123 Dislikes 0

They should do this with large naval vessels

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Ayo, Ayo, Ayo, wololol.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

134 million rubles / 67 million at current rates

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They probably feel like they have to do this since they arent being sent those migs

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

And what trust you will put in these deserters after that?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Deserters get POWd normally.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Do they get ukranian citizenship too? I would assume defectors do in this case.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

An ex soldier I know suggests that the underwing of Ukraine aircraft be painted yellow to avoid friendly fire.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

any takers so far?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not seeing me flying into Ukraine with a Russian military aircraft, expecting to just be allowed to land peacefully. I've seen the videos.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

After all the tanks they got recently, they can afford it!

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Damn i would take that over instantly if were a russian pilot

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They should offer 10K for each soldier who brings a rifle too.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

and more for vehicles or armour. Woollloo woolllooo

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ukrainian farmers shouldn't be the only ones getting rich off this war.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How are you supposed to defect if uhh they'll just shoot you down the second they see you?

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Came to ask this.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's air control and radio. FriendFoe transponders. Flying at speed and altitude that is not likely to be an attack.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

This is why they have been ordered to bomb cities from 30-40k feet. Normally it is transit altitude but suddenly it is attack altitude.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Where is Ukraine getting that kind of money from? ?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

If one Javelin shot costs a 100k, than this is cheap.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The international donations are off the charts and well should be.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

If I remember correctly, when this was first coming out, it was backed by an EU tech magnate.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A million dollars for a fighter plane is nothing

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A million Dollars for a Russian pilot is a fortune.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes exactly, but I'm talking about from perspective of Ukraine

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hope this is true.

4 years ago | Likes 289 Dislikes 7

My very first thought

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Why would it not be true?

4 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 8

The internet is a hive of scum and villainy. This is true though

4 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 1

This is reuters though

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I hope this works.

4 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

Does it count if I head to Russia and steal a plane?

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say yes.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Why would it not?

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Cos it wouldnt count as defecting since they aint legit part of the army

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Hilarious, but fruitless; the only ones that would do that are those without any family in Russia

4 years ago | Likes 89 Dislikes 12

Or the ones smart enough to send their family on vacation before they do.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

worked in the korean war, with much more limited communications. if even one pilot defects, its a success.

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

It can be useful if it causes internal conflicts where a pilot is grounded under the suspicion he may defect.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Same threat for NK defectors. And yet there’s dozens every year.

4 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

I mean, for some getting away from their wife might be a bonus

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You would be surprised. Family is thin in these situations.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Or they could aim the plane at an empty field, bail out, and claim to have been shot down. I reckon the Ukrainian's would confirm his story.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't know. I may be an oddity, but there are certain family members where I would defect to get rid of them. Sorry, not sorry.

4 years ago | Likes 78 Dislikes 2

defect, betray a trump level tard family...i see no problem.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

A lot of Russians are dead-ass telling their Ukrainian relatives that they're making shit up, Ukraine hasn't been invaded or bombed.

4 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

I'm aware of that. It's not necessarily surprising because Putin has had control of the media there for the last 20 years or so.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Totes. I'm just imagining those are the kind of family members one might feel more willing to leave behind. Hard to save them if you try.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If that number is greater than 0 then it's not fruitless

4 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 0

Yup, definition of fruit right there

4 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Costs basically nothing to make the offer, so why not give it a shot? Even one defector represents lives bloodlessly saved.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

for the number of planes Russia has, they'll just replace them and keep bombing

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Well, the point is, Ukraine now has more air-defense for cheep, Russia has less

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That doesn’t disprove or detract from my statement

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0
