Large 40 Solar Mass Black Hole

For whatever reason, there wasn't an exclusion zone around this black hole, so I could fly into it as close as I wanted. I came out of supercruise about 150 KM away, and closed the distance in normal space. This screenshot was taken like 50 KM away if I'm remembering correctly, so this is much closer to a black hole (of this size at least) than you're usually allowed.

Zero Meters from Large Black Hole's Singularity

Make sure to look at the distance from the black hole near the bottom-left. This black hole has no exclusion zone, so I was able to fly straight into it, right into the singularity, despite all logic. It's 100% safe, and unfortunately there's no visible difference being this close or even like 10KM away. It's not like Space Engine where it correctly represents crossing the event horizon. You can fly straight through the singularity, which is completely invisible, and you just come out of the other side of the black hole, with the singularity behind you.

Commander, I'd hate to be the bearer of bad news, but your trip wasn't entirely uneventful...

Thought the first picture was your mom bending over.

Every time I post a screenshot of a black hole I expect some variation of a "your mom" joke. Nice to not be disappointed.

You see, we are now in the year 13032, and historical records show that you were proclaimed MIA somewhere 10K years ago...

Do we have spacelegs yet?

No, but we don't even have legs anymore, so... win-win?
