Your pixel art posts are your best.
Sturdycrotch
#1 and #2 I sat in my car listening to some vocal trance after work this morning watching the first show fall here and the vibes in these 2 gifs evoked the same feeling of tranquility I had in my car

I'm just hoping no significant snow this year. Snow in a city is hell
Pishposhbingbong
I now crave hot chocolate. And a window between me and the weather.

I love knowing that we're going to see more games with pixelated graphics in the future. Not only are they cheaper and easier for small devs to produce, they have such a unique look to them.

#1 Not gonna lie, my first reaction was "Fucking hell the CCTV camera is shit" xD And then I was like OHHHH, its pixelart xD
Lysergian
Shoveling my driveway at 11pm with the damper on the sound of the night from the new snow and just a single dog barking down the street for company. Just us two out making sounds, my shovel and their bark.
UnlimitedTrickPony
I especially like how the ground is dithered ... but the light lets the color count in the palette explode by using a myriad of blending colors

MuffinProof
I miss snow so much it hurts.
keyblader1985
The attention to detail with changing the color of the snowflakes depending on the lighting is amazing.
lappelduvideonfullblast
fuck i wish i were back on hokkaidou
hyptosis
The last one looks like Diva in an Overwatch map.
hyptosis
Oh, I just saw the overwatch icon, lol

Man, I would play an adventure point and click game like this.

So... I've clicked on the first game that had a nice thumbnail and what a pleasant surprise! https://freshgames.itch.io/blackout It's like 15..20 minutes of play with some fun twists. Great recommendation, thanks again!
ZiomalZParafii
Thanks, didn't know this page. I'll have a look. Btw, cleaner url: https://itch.io/games/tag-pixel-art/tag-point-and-click

#6 I miss Volskaya Industries (and Hanamura), even if it could be so steamrollable.
DaPastry
I miss Overwatch.
HighFlyKai
Lunar base too, at least for me
Kotarisu
I mostly miss seeing the (rediculously close) Earth from the spawn room.
Kats8652
These would be perfect for wallpaper engine.
BishlamekGurpgork
Honestly, I loved the abstract wallpapers that ran as an app, without looping the same animation over and over. Light Grid Pro was great, but just hasn't updated and can't run on the latest android.
Now it's hard to find anything that's dynamic rather than a loop, except for those smeary fluid simulations.
Griff3923
Was just about to say, I would love these on wallpaper engine!
runswithlag
I flippin' love wallpaper engine!
ProjectDA
im downloading it now to try. KLWP was a bit laggy with this. worse case get a digital photo frame and pop these on there. this would mean we need more for each season......
JoeyJoeJoeSeniorShabadoo
#3 I'm going to miss that warm glow of sodium lamps. They're being phased out and replaced by LED. Which also look nice at <3000K, but there's something special and almost eerie about thar deep orange glow.
Nual
Yes, this 100% I miss what the night used to look like. The old night.
michiyl
There's always a way to give them this warmer (and night-time friendly) color, but it costs a bit more, so it's "unappealing"
Hashbrown123
Modern aesthetics suck. There is no soul to anything anymore.
SpamYarBlockers
So you’re saying … the world is a vampire?
JoeyJoeJoeSeniorShabadoo
I captured this in Cyberpunk. Not sodium lamps or pixel art, but it fits the vibe.
Rogahar
For as much of a dystopia as CP2077 obviously is (kinda the point after all), I did often love to just sit back and look at some piece of uniquely beautiful scenery I'd happened upon.
