Meet Betsy! She was abandoned and nearly died from Parvo, but she's mine now and I love her.

She totally does! I don't think Betsy's ears will ever stand up though, but that's ok with me!

Logan's ears kept falling so we taped with some foam curlers and a popsicle stick in between and they stood right up. She didn't even notice

What's parvo?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's a virus that cause similar symptoms on dogs as ebola in humans, specifically internal bleeding.

That is the saddest Malinios I have ever seen. GIVE HER MORE PETS!!!

This is why people should never buy animals. Look at the beauitful girl you have now.

We think she is either full Belgian Mallinios or a German x. Doesn't matter to us as we broth grew up with Shepherds and love them all!

That's so funny! We decided to call her Betsy or Betty because she needed a nice girl name

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I honestly don't know what parvo is and am too lazy to google. Anyone care to explain?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

She's such a beauty! Thank you so much for saving her life and giving her a chance.

I thought Parvo was incurable?... That's how I lost three puppies :(

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

My sister's dog was nicknamed Parvo Pup at the vet. Three years ago and he's still with her

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My puppy got parvo and so did his dad, it took him 12 days in the emergency room to survive but it is possible!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It’s not incurable but has a high death percentage it’s not way to pull them back from it

Easy*

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

84% chance of death, ours got it the week before Christmas last year! 4 days of vet hospital later and she was home. We got lucky

Our dog had puppies and we gave them to a shelter thinking it would be the best way to find them homes. They told us they couldn't be saved.

Word! I took three days off work to nurse our shih tzu through parvo. Syringe feeding baby food and water through out the nights.

She was fully vaccinated, but its possible to catch a mutated strain.

my gsd was the same! We got her at the humane society and she had parvo too. She’s a good dog. Congrats

Took me a while to notice the black dog. Congratulations on the GSD! She's a fighter :)

Our german shepherd had parvo when she was a puppy too. She was a year old when she came into our lives????

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Imgur does not nor ever will support emojis

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Looks so much like my shepherd cross

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We have no idea if she's a German Shepherd cross or a Belgium Shepherd. It doesn't matter, we love her for who she is

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Look up Belgian Malinois!! If this is what you have for LOTS of research and maybe even contact a local rescue for advice.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If she is that. Be cautious of over heating while playing outside this breed rarely stops so it will be up to you to prevent heat injury

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Looks like a young Belgium Malinois. Her ears will stand and all once healthy be prepared for a force of pure energy.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I thought malinois too

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

same

I'd say there's Anatolian Shepherd in the ancestry, looks a lot like one of my dogs.
