I think she’s actually giving the finger to the AFD marchers on the far side of the cops. This is in Leipzig, btw. I suspect the cops fear she’d put herself in harm’s way if she got much closer, which is entirely possible.

Even in Canada cops are getting bad. A few years ago in Vancouver they pushed a woman's wheelchair over because she was "in their way". They weren't even responding to anything urgent, just didn't like her blocking their path.
