10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

I should move to India.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

You'll be disappointed if this is what you're expecting. Some of these girls aren't Indian and all Indians don't look like the rest...

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wait. Are you saying that this sample may not be indicative of the population as a whole?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why are Indian dresses so much more awesome than others?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

lol'd at Indian Pocahontas

10 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 3

Buzzfeed? Is that you?

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I want to poke her hontas ... I'll just leave.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I thought Jasmine was Indian...

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Jasmine is most definitely arabian.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm not the dress wearing kind of a gal, but damn they are pretty. I want all of them...

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Belle looks like she is so done with Beasts shit.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As Christopher Columbus said "are these Indians?"

10 years ago | Likes 137 Dislikes 10

Was that before or after the Harry Potter films? :B

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Its was after percy Jackson

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is he just the go-to guy for magic YA book adaptations.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe. But he did make pixels

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No. That's not true...THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wasn't jasmine already Indian?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Jasmine is arabian.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wow, that Belle is gorgeous.

10 years ago | Likes 94 Dislikes 5

I don't remember her having so much... "science"

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Those cupcakes!

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

I like how she looks so plainly disappointed.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

10 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Thanks! Only took three surgeries to achieve.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

French translatihonhonhon - Belle=Beauty

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

That's the joke...

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Now it's no wonder that her name means "beauty" Her looks have got no parallel

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well actually belle=beautiful.... but what do I know .

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't actually know French, so I wouldn't know. Just going off Disney :D

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Those are some hella white indian women. Yes it's a diverse country & whitewashing is an issue there, but damn. Even Poca looks bronzed.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

The Indian version of Pocahontas is so accurate.

10 years ago | Likes 494 Dislikes 23

Well no wonder Columbus was wrong.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not 12-years-old enough.

10 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

Indian indian

10 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 1

Where the fuck was snow white?!

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Pocahontas was Native American Indian, not India Indian. These are in India Indian style

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your post is hitting new levels of meta-irony, our instruments are going haywire!

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

As an Indian Indian...I think i'll go as pocahontas for Halloween this year. I have a feeling this will help my new UK neighbours accept me

10 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 0

Worst thing that could happen is they accept you, kill your entire family, put you on a boat and marry you off to a governor...

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Well...they already tricked my great-grand parents into going to the caribbean to work on sugar plantations for shit pay.

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

They don't kiss in Indian movies, so does that mean Sleeping Beauty is SOL?

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

They do kiss in some Indian movies

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

You are so scandalous

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is easily the worst decision of my whole life

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hehe what?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Giving you my username

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean besides the porn...

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Links? I can't seem to find any.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, nowadays, they DO kiss in MOST of the Indian movies. i.e. if by Indian you mean Bollywood.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh, I meant the porn...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

wearing their Outfits Historically Accurate http://mowly.org/2757959-11862980

10 years ago | Likes 286 Dislikes 12

I found that more interesting tbh. Pretty neat when accurate.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

While it's the best I've seen, it is unfortunately not accurate

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Princess and the frog lady looked pretty neat

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Belle wasn't high class, though, was she? Wwould she actually dress like that?

10 years ago | Likes 75 Dislikes 0

Also, Belle's whole shtick was that she didn't follow what was popular. Why would she wear what was considered popular?

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Well, that's of her in the ball gown, when she's been with Beast for a while, & with that in mind, yes, this is more accurate than Disney.

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Her before Beast would have been pretty similar to what she wore at the beginning, but plainer colors & a simple bonnet or headscarf.

10 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Aladdin date's way off, 300 would predate Islam. And it may not even be Arabic... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aladdin#Sources_and_setting

10 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

But if we assume he's isolated in the lamp but he could do impressions of people like Jack N, wouldn't we add 10,000 to at least the 1970's?

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Isn't he chinese in the original?

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's an Arabian story set in China (aka "once upon a time, long ago and far away"). There's not really anything Chinese about the setting.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He is.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Cinderella totally looks like Jenna Marbles

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 2

I'm so glad I'm not the only one that saw that!

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Those don't look like the Indian chicks I work with.

10 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 6

They aint 5 foot tall with a moustache

10 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 16

*eyebrows

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

They aint 5 eyebrows tall with a moustache

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Well, they probably aren't walking around with tons of makeup and photoshop and glitzy outfits. In other words they are normal :)

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Source: I am a normal Indian girl. Or, well, as normal as can be 8}

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

The only Indian thing about Cinderella is the butter chicken she had for lunch.

10 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 5

And white people just can't come from South Africa! You realize India was ruled by Great Britain for nearly a century, yes?

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

Yeah but that looks like a white person (blonde hair, blue eyes), could be mixed. I know there are fair Indian ladies w/ coloured eyes btw

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Rapunzel is about as Indian as I am black. I am not black.

10 years ago | Likes 191 Dislikes 20

OP is probably referring their nationality and not their ancestry.

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

I think it's more about the clothing than the girl. But you are right in your way.

10 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 1

My Northern Indian friend has family in India that all have light skin, light hair, and blue eyes. Not all Indians look alike!

10 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 3

i'm sure though that she is indian. indians can be light skinned too:-)

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Are you black tho?

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

German/Danish farm boy from Nebraska. So no.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If you're from Nebraska you're American

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I couldn't agree more. I was merely pointing out my heritage, which is most poignantly not black. Have a pleasnt day, sir.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you're from Nebraska you're American

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Indian Jasmin.......So just Jasmin then right?

10 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 19

She's actually supposed to be Chinese.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

Really? Sauce?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I just went back to "Aladdin's Wonderful Lamp", the original story. Takes place in a Chinese city. She's a princess from the "Far East"

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Yeah, but the story is Arabian. It's set in a semi-mythical far away place, but there's nothing much Chinese about it, really.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's set in the Far-East, which, I assure you, is not mythical.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

AFAIK Disney changed the historical setting to be in the Middle East instead of it being in China.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In the original manuscript of "1001 Nights", the story of Aladdin was supposed to have happened in China, *as told by* an Arabian. (1/2)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

(2/2) I dunno at what point the story switched so it supposedly happened in Arabia. Also, hello from Random mode :D

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wow, this was super random lol.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, jasmine is Arabian. Its close to India, but different.

10 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 1

The model is super pretty, no matter what nationality she actually is.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Granted, but aesthetically the same

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 22

Not even close. Arabs are semites, Indians aren't.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No, not really. The facial fetures are quite different.

10 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

*features

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Jasmine (Badroulbadour) is actually Chinese.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Can confirm, she's from the "Far East"

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thanks for the upvote! I don't mind downvotes but when they come from clear ignorance it's pretty annoying. ಠ_ಠ

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

In Aladdin (the story) yes, in Aladdin the movie? Not really. Though she's not indian there either

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah, there's a version of the story where they changed the location, her ethnicity, etc. What relevance does that have?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This being a post about DISNEY PRINCESSES, the movie carries more weight than the original story here, so...lots of relevance? >_>
