Oh he'll approve it. He'll approve it the same way I'd 'approve' me having sex with Eva Longoria, gleefully and and excitedly at the first opportunity presents itself.
All for naught. He still hasnt been fired for leaking classified intelligence which is literally a fucking crime. Plain as fucking day and NO CHARGES have been brought forward. What a pathetic fucking country we have. Fuck you to all those who decided not to vote.
Republicans are loyal to Trump and the GOP, in that order. They are in no way loyal to the United States of America. And haven't been for a very long time.
They're loyal to their bank accounts, and whomever can fill them the fullest and the fastest. If it's more profitable for them to turn on Trump, they'll do it in less than a heartbeat.
Half of Trump voters are broke and convinced that mass shooters and pedophiles are all Democrats. Fox News has poisoned America, and Murdoch also ran laps on things like Brexit.
If you can get people to hate, you then control them.
A friend whos fallin into the Christofaschist pipeline tell me he read the quran and it was a book about violence and hate. I then informed him that it was merely the 3rd book in the abrahamic god triology. (thats right it was written after and as an addition to the bible) he lost his absolute shit at that reality. That they are in fact the same god. Then held on tightly that they aren't because of the holy trinity difference between the two. I had hoped he would see through the lies. Sadly not.
No clue about that one. I haven't bothered to check. Hes fallen so far down the hole that he legit thinks its the end times. He legit has stated that USA is a christian nation founded by christians and should be a christian state. Like... i could not believe my ears.
FYI, Hegseth is a Nazi, but Senator Slotkin is a Zionist who also supports the shooting of innocent civilians when they're Palestinian. Fuck both of these monsters. She's making a run for president, so it's important we don't uncritically boost her profile.
Did you read the first line of that statement? She signaled she would vote to block offense weapons to Israel (she still wants to fund the Iron Dome) and when it came time to vote she went on a late night talk show instead. She got over half a million from AIPAC and is former CIA. Watch this interview if you want to know more about where she stands:
"She supports the shooting of innocent civilians when they're Palestinian" and "she wants to fund the Iron Dome" are two vastly different statements. The Iron Dome has killed exactly 0 civilian Palestinians, ever. Nothing in the link I gave backs up what you're saying about her, rather the opposite.
In the interview, she also says she is not endorsed by AIPAC. The hosts don't seem to be able to scratch a dent in that statement. Would you happen to know whether it's true or not?
She is a self-described Zionist. Zionism is genocidal ideology at worst and a colonial apartheid ideology at best. You can argue she's on the latter end of the spectrum if you really want to die on that hill. The Iron Dome allows for Israel to act without fear of repercussions. Anyone who is against the genocide wants funding for all weaponry to end, not just "offensive" weaponry. She was careful to say she's not endorsed by AIPAC, not that she hasn't taken money from them. Big difference.
I think this government has made how it feels about unarmed opponents vs. armed ones very clear. It's not at all scared of hurting unarmed ones, but it's scared of armed ones.
There's soldiers in the streets. Secret police. Protests should be peaceful but armed, or they won't be taken seriously. I genuinely think being armed will mean -less- violence, which is a bizarre thing to say.
And where are the Americans in all this? Posting memes? Holding up signs for a couple of hours at best? Where is the nationwide backlash that should be giving Trump, Hesgeth and co whiplash??? Where is that "American bravery and heroism" they've beat their chests about ad nauseam since WW2? The world is already paying for the cowardice and inaction of the Americans who are failing to stop what their ancestors once fought. Humanity itself might be paying for it in the years to come.\
Because I'm "Here" in my own own country doing my duty to my own democracy, unlike so many of you cowardly Americans who gave up before your fight even began. The most limp-dicked population on earth. You protect your children from fascism just as pathetically as you have been protecting them from being shot in your schools.
As an American forced to endure this, here's where I am:
I am in a blue dot city in part of an otherwise red state. I'm roughly 1200 miles from the nation's capital. I'm unemployed thanks to Trump's economy, and cannot afford to drive that far. I've protested and marched. I've voted. I could burn myself alive on the steps of my state's capital and the news wouldn't make it halfway to DC.
Where are we? We're trying to survive. We're trying to resist. And it's not fucking working.
Whataboutism suggests I'm trying to distract from criticism against my own country, which hasn't even been mentioned. My people, like most on this earth, DO do our duty to protect our democracy. You Americans ought to try it.
You're perpetuating the cliché of American ignorance and arrogance by assuming the world isn't affected by your People's failures to defend your democracy as we have been defending ours. USA has become a Nazi threat to us all. Trump has the launch codes again, courtesy of 70% of you not voting against him. My children and the rest in the Free World may be forced to fight and die in a war to defend it from you and your People. A war that could be humanity's last, so spare me your "superiority" bs
What are you asking us to do, just start shooting people? As individuals? That not going to be effective, that's just propaganda for the other side. We have been having mass protests, among the the biggest in terms of total attendance count in our history. It hasn't translated to direct action or open revolt. Am I expecting bigger protests to come? Yes. Right now, way too many people actually support Trump.
He is supported by fascists fully. Business leaders seem to think they can profit off him, but they're getting more wary. Religious extremists and non-fascist racists support him. People who want "any kind of change" support him and they're incredibly fickle. Actual deep opposition means cracking those factions away from each other or making them less relevant. No, electoral politics is not enough.
Time and again, I hear that the answer is "building stronger communities". Part of the reason Republicans are so strong now is that they have been putting effort into downballot races for fifty years while the Dems focus more heavily on national politics. Civil society has been increasing lly dominated by businesses. Communities can at least protect each other, to some degree. I don't expect to see a civil war before 2028, and 2036-2040 seems more likely.

She's a self-described zionist? How did you come to this conclusion? She voted against a funding bill for Israel in November '23 because it did not also provide aid for Gaza: https://www.wlns.com/news/slotkin-opposes-supplemental-funding-bill-for-israel/
Are you conflating her being Jewish with her being a zionist?
