My secret santa match is a Legend of Zelda fan. So I'm embroidering a sweatshirt for them. This picture is the front of the sweatshirt; Over the left breast.

This embroidery sits on the right shoulder blade of the sweatshirt so it will not be obscured by the hood. With 2020 being such a dumpster fire you really need something homemade.

I hope they like it.

Nintendo Legal Team would like to know your location

Wow, is that some sort of pattern? Or an original design?

Here's an idea combine a 3D printer with a sewing machine, you enter in the design and it automatically sews it on

Do you have an Etsy?

As another Legend of Zelda fan, great job! I like the inclusion of the spiritual stones around the second patch.

I actually have that second image as a tattoo on my shoulder haha

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't. I only use the machine for personal use. I wouldn't be against making another one.

Custom patches made in limited run are making 20, 30$ per patch. Worth checking out maybe?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

what would you charge for something like either of these?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For the sweatshirt?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

For the embroider, if the sweatshirt was provided to you :)

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

may I recommend making a few embroideries to advertise, posting them on imgur and offering your services? I see that being very beneficial

Also don’t worry about copyrights I won’t tell.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That's probably gonna be what I do once I get a little more established

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

What do you need to become established?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do a search for 'zoa garden' - how hard you think that'd be? Guessing switching colors is hard?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not really hard, just tedious. The hard part would be converting the image to path files, since photographs don't convert super well.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not with the software I have, anyway.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

SVGs I could probably get you. I used to work a plasma cutter so I know how to do the path conversions.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The main issue is the number of unique colors. Most designs I've worked with have upwards of ~25 stitch paths, and one I tried to convert /1
