I don't expect this to go anywhere, downvote if you must, I have no one to share my pain with right now and need to express my greif.
My beautiful mother has been battling Lung cancer since 2018. After her last treatment she weighed 89 lbs. She was admitted in Oakland today after testing positive for Covid-19. I'm sitting here with tears rolling down my face because I need to figure out how to tell my son that we can't ever see his 'Mimi' again.

My dad went to surgery and he left me a message that I didn’t get for a couple hours. He died during it. That’s a feeling that stays.
