All i had to do was put in freon. Literally just had to buy a can and plug it in. Ive also lived in florida for the last two months and that wasnt enough to get me to spend the cash.

I had a similar situation, but it wasn't my AC that was broke my car just sucked so I bought a new one like 2 days before a first date lol.

Freon is R-12 and was phased out in 1995 and replaced by R-134a. If your car is newer than that you destroyed your AC system.
