Hey guys, check it out! new ski slope just dropped!
UndercoverHoverer
AndMeToo40
Wow! That’s huge! We’re safe at this distance. Not panicking yet. Err not panicking yet! Shit panic! Too late.
RancidOrange
I'd make a deal with God, And I'd get him to swap our places. Be running up that road, Be running up that hill, Be running up that building
Legomaniac91
bartoho
KidAmnesia
Not really. No one can run fast enough to get away from it. Finding cover behind a big boulder will give you better chances of suviving.
StagBullSwitch
I'll take "Videos that end too soon" for $400, Alex. (Still cool, though.)
llcoolj
I know someone from Kyrgyzstan. It’s beautiful. Look up the lakes! Also avoid the avalanches.
symbholic
Definitely worth a visit!
Noobsauce2184
First time I saw this I realized how much force was here after the first collision, with car sized ice chucks getting 7 seconds of air time
247Lurker
ViruzZX
And the rest?
onepieceofgumleft
Must have felt an avalanche of fear and adrenaline at that moment.

How it feels to chew 5 gum
coolst0rybr0
UncageTheSage
Ay, throw it in reverse, Terry!
Bruce22
Damn that was a nice hiding spot. Using the curve of the land to essentially let it break over you like a wave.
sugusdepi
Every time I see Butcher.
RyanAstroMan
youcannotwin
Waxilliam
It was about thirty seconds. There was nothing to do but wait it out. Staying there with modest cover was better than running.
LordSithis
Me, outlook, watching: hit the ground idiot, get down, there's cover, move! Finally at the end when he crouches down: thank fuck.
Waxilliam
yeah, I was hoping there was a lot more zoom but then it got real
LordSithis

Whelp, he ded.
SeldonCrysis
How many miles away were they?
billbobagsh0t350
"That's getting close, better zoom out a bit... Maybe a bit more... What do you mean that's as far as we can zoom out?"
CptRobotNinja
Lol gyz

Running won't do you any good. If anything, stick close behind that boulder and wait it out.
hurdleturtle13
Just like in Mulan!
kodiak931155
Running UP can make a difference but yeah even then finding a sheltered lee to hide in is likely more usefull
stevencloser
And that's exactly what they did.
trinxter
Now panic calmly.
chichiFregiLover
people will do anything for a good meme nowadays. Just hope he/she's still breathing
JoeGrunt
The entire group of ten British and American tourists are OK. 1 woman suffered a gash on her knee and was rushed to the nearest hospital.
JoeGrunt
The local guides were also OK.
MatthewJohnsona
Saw a post about this earlier today. That's not an avalanche. That's part of the glacier collapsing.
ipewpewu
I'd recommend looking up the definition of avalanche. ?
JoeGrunt
Tomato, tomato.
letmypeoplego
Oh, so that's the Earth dying. Great.
reinerdefender
No worries there bud, that's still like, 4,000,000,000 years or so in the future. Humanity, that's a different story, though.
JustAddMud
Uh... Mr., .. Mr Grant, they're flocking this way.
SJohnson23
He didn’t spend seven years at dinosaur school to be Mr Grant.
JustAddMud
Yeah. I realised that 2 hrs after I posted. Much shame.
SJohnson23
*sad velociraptor noises*

physics FTW! makes stuff so wild!
Cpthornswoggler
"Oh dear God." Well done cameraman, kept the camera on it and remained surprisingly calm.
Leajjes
British going to British.
kingkongkeom
I'd definitely gone into hiding a bit earlier...that really cut it too close for comfort
poobly
British.

Dude knew he had nowhere to go. He was smart. You dont outrun that.
JoeGrunt
The tourist, Harry Shimmin, said that he had been there for a few minutes "so I knew there was a spot for shelter right next to me."
JoeGrunt
"I was on a cliff edge, so I could only run away from the shelter (hence why I don’t move). Yes I left it to the last second to move, and
JoeGrunt
yes I know it would have been safer moving to the shelter straight away. I’m very aware that I took a big risk. I felt in control, but
JoeGrunt
regardless, when the snow started coming over and it got dark / harder to breath, I was bricking it and thought I might die."
SkyZippr
That reminds me of a guy filming September 11th as one of the towers collapsed and debris poured down, murmuring calmly 'I hope I live'.
SerenePrincess013
Did he?
SkyZippr
He did. He was a doctor, and he went on to help others. (viewer's discretion is advised) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQk5Qw8hHGA
Vorphalack
Amazing footage. Hadn’t seen that before. Hope his lungs were ok after that. Thanks for sharing.
elevengoldfish
Ditto.
