I feel like the cheese is not quit done. Not quit melted and needs a nice brown crisp.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

See my other post, sometimes I completely crisp the cheese other times I like it a lil less done, depends on my mood

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Don't forget; if you opt for no pizza, make sure to specify left beef.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I guess we're having cast iron pizza for dinner tonight. thanks @OP

Brilliant. The final closeup fully encapsulates the creature's mindless, unadulterated desire.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Start with the skillet on high heat til smoking. Remove from heat. Add Dough. Add toppings. Place under broiler on high for 2 minutes.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Pizza. Sounds good to me bro

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So, what's that "upsaide down pizza" I know in one of Gearbox's Borderlands 3 ads?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That looks good...but I'm gonna have to reject your ultimatum.

6 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

There's room in my heart (and my stomach) for all pizzas.

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Any pizza > no pizza

6 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 1

Amen. I'd even welcome frozen pizza. Or to satisfy the craving; bagel, spaghetti sauce and cheese. It's pizza-like enough.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah I love my cast iron as much as the next person, but this is sum bull shit

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

I just had Pizza Rolls. Comment on this webzone if you want a pizza roll. But, for serious, that looks fucking tasty af.

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Pizza is still better than no pizza.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Isn't that just basically a deep dish pizza?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've had this one for over 10 years

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Good on you! All the same, it’s sound advice. That board could last a lifetime with good care.

Si. Bamboo.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I’ve never had cast iron pizza, and with how my great grandmother treats her skillet, I probably never will. However, I’ve made some 1/2

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Really great hand made pizza

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How do you keep the crust from getting soggy?

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I preheat my cast iron skillet on the stove first when I make cornbread. Crispy every time.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This bitch is drowned in olive oil and cooked at 550 degrees

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

Got a recipe for the masses @OP?

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

One day I'll stop being lazy and post the recipe

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Please message me, I got a lot of people asking , I've just told people to pm so I can keep track

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I can’t message you, but I’d love the recipe!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why can't you message? Not enough points?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Why not just write it in the description of the post?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Because I don't have it written out, it's in my head. By the time I write it out this post will be long forgotten

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I’m sorry, I just saw this. But I’m pretty sure it’s because I don’t have enough points. I’m a bit more of a fly on the wall here.

Woohoo! Thanks!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Iver never had cast iron pizza.

6 years ago | Likes 277 Dislikes 0

It's really good if you're anemic.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Just get regular pizza and then put it in a pan on 3-4 for like 5 minutes until the bottom is crispy.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Other than for the meme, getting a thick (0,5cm+) steel plate will get you better results on a home oven.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

google kenji's no knead pizza

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He’s a damn fine chef! I would love to go to his restaurant! I have the food lab cookbook. Superb cooking!

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Come over i will make it for any that arrive sat night

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Howd it go?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Are you still in metro Manhattan or moved to supermax?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Still amazed at how people make anything remotely edible on cast iron

6 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 10

Just bring the pan up to heat before adding food. Avoid soaking in soap, a little drop is more than enough if you need it.

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Season it correctly and itll be an every day pan. Source:I'm a chef and it's my go to pan at home!

6 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Dutch ovens are cast iron and make delicious food.

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

You never had Pizza Hut?

6 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 3

You say that like it's still the 90s

6 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

does pizza from a hut use cast iron? 0.o

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

yeah their pans are "technically" cast iron. just not the thick heavy pan like most people think when they think of cast iron.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Probably carbon steel. It's commonly misidentified as cast iron.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hand tossed ftw, pan pizza is way too greasy.

*New Yorkers screaming profanities in the background*

6 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

New York style is hand tossed.... or are you just stating what New Yorkers do in general?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You could fry a piece of chicken from the grease that comes out of a single slice of new york pizza.

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

no he's right. pizza hut pan pizza is way too greasy. and it's not even the good grease.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's delicious

6 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 4

Pre heat the pan like a stone?

6 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Can ypu provide a recipe for this awesomeness

6 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Make dough, cover in sauce and cheese and cook. But really, when I get some time I'll message it to you

6 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

What do you put under the dough? Oil or butter?

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I too, would be interested in a recipe. Not sure if I'd make use of it, but I am interested none of the less.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Send to me too, please!!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can you... Send me too bud? I've got a dough recipe for pizza but I'm not a huge fan of it. I'm always down to try random strangers recipes!

6 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Thats what i am saying... my dough recipe works ok for original crust on stone. Not is a iron

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My go-to for cast iron pizzas: 1 cup war water, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp yeast, 3 cups flour, some basil, black pepper, rosemary, and olive oil.
