Serious question: with your back having such a curve to it, how did your back feel with it prior and after surgery?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It hurt before and after. Before it was a lot worse, hurt to stand, walk, sit, even breathe.

After things feel tighter and have less flexibility but you don't really notice it too much.

They leave it in. There's a small chance without the bars it'll go back and removing it risks infection/nerve damage/death/etc.

Make sure you work with a physical therapist at getting your posture as neutral as possible. You'll have a lot of muscles that are too tight

From being in that position that will need to be stretched out. Manual physical therapy is the best! They will go in and physically strech

The muscles out with their fingers, which is great for muscles that are hard to stretch. It's also great for those intra spinal muscles that

It was done years ago so I'm pretty much normal as far as all that goes. But thanks for looking out for me.
