I fulfilled a childhood dream and got onto my favorite teen gaming magazine's live show!

This is me and Sydney (we're the ones in the center) during the so called "Find Your Next Game" show of German gaming news outlet GameStar, which I adored as a teenager (and still do). And now I got to go on stage with them and talk to them!

I really, really want to share some insights, so here ya go! We announced our new video game Aquapark Tycoon this weekend on GameStar's live show. We had a 10 minute slot to announce our game.

We showed off the trailer and then answered a few questions, in front of a both live and online crowd of over 7000 people watching us.

Here you can see me, phone in hand, on stage, trailer in the background, last-minute-checking that our Steam store page went live without issues! The store page had to be online during the show so that people watching it live could open it. Since this was planned as a world premiere announcement of our game, we had to wait literally until the last second. I pushed the button immediately once I heard the music from our trailer, a few second before walking on stage. Some profuse sweating ensued, but I grinned like a mad man during the entire show.

This is the other stage that we were on the next day. We had a 25 minute slot where we could answer some more in-depth questions about the game. We got to hang out backstage with some of the GameStar editors as well and it felt surreal to talk to some of my childhood gaming heroes. I was a little too shy to ask for selfies, but I got to talk to them about our latest game, so that's perfectly fine I think.

The whole thing happened at Caggtus, which is a huge LAN and gaming event. People game here for over 70h straight. This is the hall where all the gaming happened. It really surprised me how silent it was in there.

Anyway, that's all! Now that the cat's finally out of the bag, and I can talk freely about our new game, I can't wait to show off some footage and post some devlogs!
