IDR exactly where I heard it from, but I was recently introduced to the concept of rape culture. These fuckers don't just defend the rapists, they want to be the rapists. That's why they don't care to take the women seriously. There’s what you know, and what you can prove in court. Mere allegations- even credible ones- need support. In most jurisdictions, you can’t convict someone of a crime based on the testimony of a proven co-conspirator.
SO, I believe the women: the incidence of false accusations of sexual assault of ANY kind is about 10%. But the law won’t convict on mere accusations. Real LEGAL consequences require further evidence.
And the Epstein files look like real support for those allegations.

Similarly, 1000 1-star reviews is pretty convincing evidence. However, actually watching the Melania movie would still be better proof that it's a bad movie.

There are probably that many in the files but most are not willing to come forward anymore after being threatened or hearing how someone else they knew it happened to was murdered or died suspiciously. These are powerful people who have definitely silenced others so I don’t blame these victims. Even looking at society now, it’s clear nobody who makes change cares about them or the truth

Actually a lot of former soldiers have criticized ICE because the level of restraint they were expected to use in an actual war zone with actual armed militias was much stricter than what ICE is expected to use when dealing with US citizens. Like a soldier witnessing a soldier doing some of the shit ICE agents have done and not reporting it would get court-martialed, let alone actually doing it themselves.
