She died , in an unmarked grave, at 104. How old was she when they buried her?

Reminds me of the story of unknown girl who drowned, and became the face of CPR dolls

This is cool, but USA is brimming with racist pedophiles, so I will never, ever go there again.

Thank you for this. It's probably all we'll get for Women's History Month, so will gladly take it.

Yet another example of how women not having rights, autonomy and access to resources (outside of a man) harms us

Her Wikipedia page has more information. The clip completely leaves out her movie career. Her mother likely petitioned to have her committed after she attempted suicide. Inside she was diagnosed with depression & schizophrenia. Considering the times I'm sceptical on that being the correct diagnosis. I'd also venture to say the movie industry likely led to these events, knowing what we know now about the "movie business"

I too doubt the diagnosis. Lobotomy was used to silence many women in the mid 1900s. Nearly 60% of American lobotomy patients were women.

Ok, what is the story? I can’t be bothered with the AuHD format.

Dr got obsessed with a model, who boarded with him - wife kicked her out. Dr murdered wife, model denied any romantic involvement, Dr. hung himself in jail, she was ostracized, her mother committed her to mental institution, 65 years, died at 104, unmarked grave - nobody believing her when claimed she was 'on' statues

"She died at 104, in an unmarked grave." This is the real scandal. Who buried her alive?!!!!

No one said she was buried.
