Lol "Geep"

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The liger is known for its skills in magic...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fun thing about the geep: goats and sheep cannot actually breed together. Geeps are chimeras not crossbreeds!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That "Grolar Bear" Isn't a hybrid, the two species separated in the last Ice age and are able to breed viable breedable offspring.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Groaler Bears have been known to pop up in the wild during really warm years when Polar Bears move inland.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I was not aware that sheep and goats f**ked each other. Thanks for the new information.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The Jaglion looks pretty goddamned fierce.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Grolar bear has to be a violent mean ass bear

#1 is bred for its magical powers!

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Zorse? There was the Quagga and that was nautral.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Beep beep I'm a geep!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What about puppy monkey baby?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Can any of these reproduce?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The liger and tigon can. Pretty sure the rest can't.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What about puppy monkey baby?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What about that weiner dog and pit bull mix that was trying to get adopted?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

All of those big cats look even more badass than their parents. I wanna see them each fight a Deathclaw.

What about puppy monkey baby?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So.... we're not calling it a Pizzly Bear anymore?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That's not muderous enough.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Zorse just looks like a regular zebra wearing a T-Shirt

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

it looks like bad photoshop

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

its pinto coloring

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

oh im sure its real, thats just what it looks like to me

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can someone explain to me why the hybrid can be different depending on which parent is which gender? I thought parents gave 50/50 DNA

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They don't. Females and males carry different genes. The female lion carries the gene that causes manes for example.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They give half of the chromosomes but carry different genes.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Never was there a more appropriate post for this...

9 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 2

You know most of these are infertile or sterile. They can mix once, but can't double down.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was more trying to imply that these creatures had to come about in one way or another... but mostly just that one way. Lots of mating.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hahaha. I wish I could up vote that more.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

#1 is pretty much my favorite animal.

9 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 1

Zoids

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's like a lion and a tiger mixed, bred for its skills in magic.

9 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

liger zero schneider

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Does your username have large talons?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

son I don't understand a word you just said!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I expected a liger to look...different http://imgur.com/B7AHJ9Q

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wouldn't that be a Zule or an assbra

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

My vote is on assbra!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Haha. Even though those are way better names that would have to be cross bred with a mule which are sterile because they are already hybrids

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Donkey plus horse equal mule...Donkey plus zebra equal Zule/Assbra

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fun fact: the liger is the largest cat b/c the gene to stop growth is carried by the male tiger & female lion so Ligers don't inherit it.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I knew they where the largest but didn't know that was why. +1 for you.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

*d'aww shucks

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

so they keep growing as long as they live?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes. They actually have a very short life span for a cat, if I remember correctly, for exactly that reason.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

cool.. why are crocodiles able to live and grow for so much longer? do ligers get cancer a lot? or is it that after a point their systems

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I assume their hearts can't take pushing blood around their big bodies. Like Great Danes.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

right, that makes sense.. so if someone was to install a horse's heart in one it might live much longer

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

aren't as efficient.. with enough genetic tweaking could we have immortal monstrous ligers, do you think?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Jaglion is a beast! almost feel bad for the others..

9 years ago | Likes 127 Dislikes 2

jalion is fake. its just a melanistic jag

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

it s just a jaguar... melanic jaguar, but jaguar. male jaguar + female jaguar that s it.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, he's like the Samuel L. Jackson of the cat community!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

http://www.bearcreeksanctuary.com/jaglions.htm - 'true love' - raised together and pined when separated. Pregnancy unexpected.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

They seperated them!! How could they do that!!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because knowingly letting animals breed to create hybrids causes a lot of ethical issues

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If it's a jaguar and a lion why is it black with spots? Looks more like a panther and a jaguar

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

a "black panther" is just a melanistic jaguar. they arent different things

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Interesting fact! A panther is not a distinct species; a panther is just a black jaguar or leopard!

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That is interesting. Thanks!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Looks like an mmo mount

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Give it time

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nightsaber.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

"jaglion" is fake. its just a melanistic jaguar

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

http://www.bearcreeksanctuary.com/jaglions.htm It is real. They're are only two in the world.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

No https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_panther. Also see: Biology (Melanism)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So assuming you didn't even read the article I linked. Only one of jaglions is black the other is white.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

ITS NOT A FUCKING JAGLION. ITS A MELANISTIC JAG. NOT A HYBRID SPECIES. A FUCKING FUNNY COLOR.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So assuming you didn't read the article I linked... Again.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your picture of a "jaglion" is not of Jazhara, the jaglion. your picture is a black jaguar.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It is Jazhara but not the picture used on the website. Looking back I wish I would've used the picture of tsunami to avoid the confusion.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

no, its not. the pattern is wrong,t he color is wrong, the head is wrong, the nose bridge and chin is wrong. its not the same cat.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Have a beer not a stroke dude.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Now breed them all together!

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Why would you create offspring that can't reproduce and carry your genetic material through generations. #science

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Actually offspring of 2 different species are infertile, which is why this doesn't happen often in nature.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I'm painfully aware...When I learned of ligers and their infertility (although isn't it just the males or something) I was quite upset

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ligers and Tigons are fertile.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've been misinformed! Then let's breed them!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They also breed then with lions and tigers to make liligers and Litigons!
