I feel like I just got educated

I still think sewing machines are magic

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

So if I catch that grenade and its upside down, everything's Ok?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#6 Apparently Killer Grenade Seamen are swag

The solar system moves?

The sewing machine blew my mind. I always wondered how that worked!

Dig that jaunty little Sailor just standing around all casual.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is that where they put the pinholes in?

That undersea cable has careless amounts of slack.

More please

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A gun; a grenade.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I understood everything but sowing machine. What witch craft is this?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Im genuinely curious. If i hold a grenade upside-down, will it not explode? ( #4 )

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You can see a spring pushing the mechanism, so my guess would be that it works if the spring gives enough stentgh to counter gravity.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#1 and #6, you misspelled "freedom dispenser"

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I always assumed that when cables were laid it was more erotic.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hey that's pretty good

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

When seeing the gun battery loading system, all I could think of was Under Siege.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

whats that?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I wanna know why the shell is squished in such an odd shape

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The cutout isn't triangular shaped. It's some oddly shaped weird thing that only goes about halfway up the projectile.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#1 There seems to be no mechanical reason for that shell casing to fly out like that.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

It's not showing the impact of the recoil. This is known as a mistake

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Inertia. The extractor pulls the casing from the top or side then hits the ejector on the bottom, off center, which throws the casing.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As it's pulled back it hits the extractor as seen in here: http://image.wikifoundry.com/image/1/lZJ1HMMXl8gvyjU3jyMnCQ294284/GW441H330

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, it's almost like its moving slower than a real gun or something. No reason the casing should move if the speed is a 100 times that

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There's still no reason depicted for that to happen, at least not in a way that's reliable and predictable.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

#8 was proven bullshit

If it were true, we would see the planets travel across the sky always perpendicular to the stars in the milky way.

The below article says the videos do have some truth to them. But many of the details are wrong.

That was wonderful. Thank you.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's also incredibly wrong, sorry. Someone posted a link.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That's a solar system, the universe is an entirely different thing.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

True. But ya knew what I meant.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thank you for linking to that article! Very informative.

No problem! I quite like bad astronomy, it's a great blog for explaining all things astro (apart from -ology) in an easy to understand way

We all riding on a really massive synchronized comet system.
