10 Senate Democrats joined with Republicans to advance the House-passed GOP plan to keep the government funded through September, in a 62-38 vote. Only 1 republican voted against the bill. Govt is funded through September for seven months and dems lost their only leverage
florpglorp
I called chuck schumer the day before. What was even the point. Do I call him again mocking him for being donald trumps bitch
AWarningToOthers
When tRump says you are doing a good job you need to reevaluate yourself.
lamontcranston
Just a couple days after saying he was no longer Jewish.
zzz777
So basically the GOP can't figure out how to create a funding bill so, even with the ability to do so on their own... just put forth a CR.
TheMoonBnuuy
we SHOULD work together on a a very dangerous situation... just not that one... Trump is the very dangerous situation we should work together on...
Mr21782Man
Spineless coward. The emperor is already shutting down the country, withholding the budget won't make a measurable difference. It won't reduce the hurt. It just enables him.

"Schumer collaborates with nazi leadership" - fixed the headline
bourbonandbaddecisions
Chuck “Nazi collaborator” Schumer
Striker1945
Cant wait till this Nazi dies.
chingadamadrex
I wonder how much their souls were worth?
sonomarco
He is just repackaging Schumer's position to match his own narrative. Clue in the middle : "A non pass would be a Country destroyer..." As in, if this hadn't passed I would be able to move even faster to Screw the Federal Government.
lonelyrangerofthedreams
I think too many good Americans still thinks Democrats are completely different from Republicans.
Odb718
Chuck and Nancy should have been voted out YEARS ago.
FlintNorth44
And there it is.
PhooBar
You know what happens after "roll over", dontcha?
Cabreza
Democrats need their Tea Party moment to kick the Schumers off the party to the curb. Guys like him are why Republicans are *somehow* considered the party of the people (despite all the evidence to the contrary).
artie500
Neither NY Senator gets my vote next time they're up for re-election. GO AOC!
shinagami091
Schumer reasoning for supporting the bill was limp. He’s afraid of Musk going through and doing more cuts if the bill wasn’t passed.
JagerSuperStar
It is worse, chuck said he will block it. House dems from vulnerable districts took Chuck on his word and did not vote for it, only to see Chuck backtrack, republicans will run ads in competitive districts saying Chuck and Republicans came together but your local house dem tried to shut down govt entirely.
budsterblack
Remind me, wasn't he the guy wanting to tank the CR under the last prz?
METROlD
God damnit, they passed this shit? What the fuck, democrats??

Absolute truth in this title.

1. T did not write this, it's not in all caps and it's coherent. 2. If T is telling you you did the right thing, you fucked up so bad...

slack3rdav3
Time for some fucking Churchill
LitterBoxKing
1. Why did he double-quote 'guts' but nothing else?
2. Nothing is rage-capitalized. Donnie did not write that.
veesee
Yeah wasn't sitting right with me either. It's too coherent.
anotherrandomname
Clearly written by a staffer- it was written above a 3rd grade level.
nation543
I have been pondering on this sort of coding for a very long time. He does caps when he's mad, or when he's trying emphasize a childish point to denigrate anyone who won't kiss the ring, but I'm not always sure what the double quotes mean aside from insisting that whoever types his tweets use that specific word... I think that because he capitalized Country, he is referring to billionaires.
TZO2k15
Of course not, I mean, people are motivated to make him look like a competent adult, when he's nothing more than a petulant, spoiled, rebellious teenager...
onecowboytoo
It is a boomer thing to emphasize the word.
RevRagnarok
Yes but it doesn't Have the Random Boomer Capitalization like He Usually Does.
RedSkizzers
Not just 10 democrats. They only NEEDED 10. The party is filled to the brim with corporate democrats who would have joined the republicans if they had been called upon. This rotating villain of the week trope has been played out time and time again, it's ALL of them. Any dem taking corporate bribes must be primaried ASAP
JagerSuperStar

"Any dem taking corporate bribes must be primaried ASAP". Welp -- you *do* know that that's **all** of them, right?
RedSkizzers
Yeah, I do know. And it's a huge undertaking. But I really don't see any other way. We need to create a pledge or something and force all dems to sign it to outlaw any current or future corporate bribes, and any who refuse to sign must be primaried. Corporate money in politics is the cancer that is destroying us, make no mistake we have other problems too but this is the root issue of many of them
Coofk
False, AOC, and Burnie are very public about not taking corporate bribes so those two can stay
Bizarkly
*Heh.* This being Imgur, I **knew** someone would correct me! Thank you.
bippityboppitybuttsex
How to tell if you are not doing the right thing...
ElasticRichard
If I understood correctly Democrats argued that blocking the bill would hurt Joe and Janet Sixpack way more than it would hurt The Orange Jizzrag and his cronies. Admirable standpoint but it might be too wordy for these times of snippets and instant gratification.
JagerSuperStar

Was it admirable? To rubber stamp the destruction of the US after telling everyone he and his caucus were voting against?
ElasticRichard
Maybe not. I think the argument they brought forward makes some sense, if that’s even possible anymore. I have a very tiny horse in this race as I am not American but am a citizen of planet earth. Should the middle class and people living in poverty suffer for political gain of the DNC? Will The Cheezit from Hell sleep one minute less? I don’t know, really. Ugh, I’m so tired. Tired of the Golgothan Shit Demon we’ve created. In the US but just as much so in the EU.
bippityboppitybuttsex
His argument is 'we are scared of the big scary Republicans and their competent media machine... please, let them destroy the country, as long as we don't have to show a backbone or question our billionaire overlords...'
ElasticRichard
Yeah, sorry. I may have spoken out of turn. I saw the press release but haven’t got a sharp eye on the party-political intricacies like the dirty games Schumer is now playing. Nothing to see here, keep on moving…
