Another one of King's Landing; this is a closer image of the Sept of Balor

Winterfell

Pyke

The Wall

I built a room with a basement! With torches in it. Even a chest.

If People would put so much effort in solutions for our Problems, the world would be a better place

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There is a Swedish city called Västerås, same pronunciation.

duh duh duh duhn - duh duh duh duhn - duh duh duh duhn - duh duh duh duhn - duh duh duh duhn - duh duh duh duhn - duh duh duh duhn

Not accurate... needs bigger graveyards.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That texturing on The Wall though

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

OMFG!!!!!! I do not even want to ask about how much time went into this...

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

These are awesome. I tried recreating the Castlevania castle from SotN from the inside out, it was 70% done when I stopped two years ago.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

SIT DOWN AND FINISH THAT GOD DAMN THING. THEN DO IT UPSIDE-DOWN.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is every little building accurate or assumed?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is there a way to explore what other people have built? It could be a really cool way to encourage kids to go into engineering and sciences.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If the save is uploaded you could put it in your saves folder.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They used to have a server that anyone could log in to. Not sure if its still up.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Aside from downloading the map and exploring it yourself, there's this top-down view of it: http://westeroscraft.com/map

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Are these available for download?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I built a two storey house. Fuck you! I can achieve things.....

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

i built a 10 story tower, but nearly every story is different and it generally looks like shit...

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I wanted to build a castle but I gave up and made a cave my home. Dreams don't come true.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I always just dig into mountain sides and make the inside my home. So much easier and still looks cool imo.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How is this even possible and can i go there (virtually)

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You need to download the launcher at westerocraft.com these builds are about 3 years old and we've re-done them since so they'remuch bettter

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes you can if you have minecraft. Not sure of the server name but google is your friend.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Thanks! N like walk around or fly there? Thatll be soooo dope

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Who has so much time?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

About 300 people over the past 4 years

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I never understood gaming rigs with 32+ ram... This is why isn't it?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I have a measly 16gig and you can easily crash to desktop in 5 minutes in this place.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

minecraft eats those ram sticks for breakfast.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

winterfell looks way too big

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can assure you we've done a lot of research on all of our builds. They're based on the books not the show though.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I find it more impressive that someone made a scientific calculator using pre-1.5 redstone (dust, repeaters, pistons and inputs)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just wait for the Americans to blow it up like they did with Copenhagen

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

stupid america.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Indeed

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Did they finish it or we have to wait 7 years till it is?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We're currently about 60% done. After starting from scratch about a year and a half ago

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cool! You do understand that I was joking because of Martin n his books, right?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

well yeah :P thought you should know anyway though.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lol thanks man! I'll try to check it out

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is cool and all, but it would be much better if it where LEGO.

10 years ago | Likes 60 Dislikes 6

Were*

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Just think of adorning your VR headset and actually stepping into the world of Westeros though....

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

"Donning your VR..." Adorning is done to something else, you don your headset to put it on yourself" tmyn.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

it would cost more than production of 5 seasons for the show

10 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 1

yeah but everything's better in lego

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

well... this makes all my builds look like shit.

10 years ago | Likes 320 Dislikes 0

Here's one I started way abck /a/ZHRvF

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I built a giant sphere before. That's about the only interesting thing.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In honesty though, they look good due to shaders and rendering. In game, no upgrades or packs, it looks jumbly and basic. Still impressive

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

So we join the server and set fire to it all then?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

You can't. You can join as an observer. Hard to get build rights there.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

dont worry, these builds also look like shit from close up. they only look good from far away

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I would have to disagree. These builds are old so they're pretty shit but we've done new versions that look great from every angle.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

well i was talking about these, havent seen the new ones yet

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I dont play minecraft. But realisicly what time does it take to build this ?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

depends on the amount of people building it and the programs they use

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Also depends if it's survival or creative. I've seen a guy do something on a similar scale all in survival vanilla.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Placing all of the blocks yourself is not reasonably achievable.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not sure but I know at least 500 people are working on it.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would assume all of the time.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My sister-in-law was involved for several months. They could build up some parts as pre-fabs, but it was still a massive group effort.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Months at least. If they built it block by block, id say years.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

How many people do you work with?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I work by myself most of the time but I occasionally let my younger brothers help.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Okay, this is like that, but if your grandmother and all her children were basically planning on taking over a small nation using their kids

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

These are like at least 50, bare minimum, people working together is what I'm saying.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Link to map download? Anyone?

10 years ago | Likes 104 Dislikes 0

.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I'd like it as well.. Op is such a tease for not including it.

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Glad I'm not the only one feeling teased lol

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's a server and thus not a downloadable map. If you were to download it'd be about 90gb. You can explore the server by downloading 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

the launcher at westeroscraft.com though

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ah, okay. Thank you.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just Google it

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

How do you open a map in minecraft (that u downloaded)? I cant "Open with" on my computer.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Place in your minecraft world folder. Then just start minecraft and open the world like an ordinary save :)

That's not the download map; it's a server and doesn't have a download. You can explore the server by downloading the launcher though

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Isn't there a mod to download the map of a server?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't know tbh but the map is 90gb so I wouldn't recommend it.
