These are incredibly beautiful! Also, I just learned a superior way to debone a chicken thigh.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Right? Jesse is a wizard

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dude! That is awesome!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I want a cocobolo desk

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

not a lot of people work with cocobolo because of the dust. It is very allergenic

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

My goal in life is to be able to debone a chicken like that, I need cooking classes lol

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Never stop posting your knives. I must ask. Have you gotten an increase in orders since you started to show your work on imgur? :)

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Looks expensive!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

from $275 to $1,825, so yes they are.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

well, paring knives are 125 on the site haha

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sorry, missed that one! :P

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How does one even end up learning how to do this?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've been watching Forged in Fire a lot, so I'm probably an expert by now.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm joking, of course, but that show does make me want to learn how. I looked online and there are bladesmiths that teach classes.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i started with taking out the trash hhaha

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Dude. WANT. How much do you sell your knives for (on average)?

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

message me, they really depend on the options, thanks!

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

really depends what you want, knives range from 125 up to 1800 so far, though i'm making a sword! that'll be more haha

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Now you have my interest as well. Just looked through your website, absolutely beautiful work. Look forward to see the sword!

Whats it like working woth titanium. I dont think you can temper it or anything right?

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 5

Is in the trades and doesnt know this shit fucking useless field service tech here

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 29

Wrekd by OP

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Why the fuck was I downvoted for not understanding XD

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

the titanium i use only for handle hardware, as it is not very hardenable. If you look up duane dwyer, my teacher, he worked with nasa (1)

8 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 0

and crucible metallurgy making a hardenable version of titanium called SM-100 (2)

8 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 0

My only critique is that they’re too perfect. I like a hand made look personally. Excellent work.

8 years ago | Likes 96 Dislikes 7

Dang, not sure how to feel about that haha thanks!

8 years ago | Likes 60 Dislikes 0

I kind of think I understand what he’s saying. Like I wouldn’t want to use most of these and scuff them up, I’d want to display them.

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

... Is "too perfect" even a valid critique, though?

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

Like...wabi-sabi, dude

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

sure it is

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

By "too perfect" he means they look as if they were machine-made so yeah

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

But that's basically saying, "You're too good at what you do, bring it down a notch."

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

that is a legitimate issue in blacksmithing these days, perfect corners and circles are seen as machine made and disliked

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Think of it like a painting. Photo realism takes precise skill, but a highly stylised piece can look less perfect but convey more emotion.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I think it depends on why you're buying the knife - if you ONLY care about quality it doesn't matter but if you also buy for looks it might.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Having said that - these are amazing knives and personally I'd feel lucky to own any of 'em. That damascus is gorgeous.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

What would a chefs knife cost?

8 years ago | Likes 99 Dislikes 2

Too much, if you have to ask.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Possibly a finger tip

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That’s super optimistic

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

About tree fiddy

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

For once this answer isn’t completely wrong.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 6

Depends on the amount of dlc.

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

I'll wait for the season pass.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

message me, they really depend on the options, thanks!

8 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 0

Ha, I know I could neither afford or make proper use of one this nice, so for now I will admire from a distance.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just started knife making. How do you decide the angle to taper the blade?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

As a chef.. hi there. ;)

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 2

Have a good chef's knife and a cheap as shit chef's knife.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Where are you located? Woukd new Zealand cost a bomb in postage?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Message ne, we can work it out!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well way cheaper than kramer, thats for sure. Nice work

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thanks!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you're worried about postage, you won't want to see the prices to begin with.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I got the prices, Just nz has really annoying and really long postage. My guess would be an extra $200-300 on top that’s like extra 20%
