Amelia Earhart, right?

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yup

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Good on the progress bar, but holy fuck is it an intrusive one. That's way too big

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I'll be redoing it this afternoon and i'm going to fix that and a few other things.

There's no iron in that car, c'mon.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

They use steel to reinforce critical points on the structure.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There must be a little bit, but the body is all aluminum isn't it?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Carbon fiber and aluminum. It also has an aluminum space frame construction on the front and rear subframes.

Robert Picardo carried this show.

"Here's 7 cc's of the plot's solution".. also my favorite doctor moment

I foresee this week's front page reposts. Let us remember this as the original.

You got me. I thought it was going to be a dick butt.

That was a deep pun bro. Real heavy.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

+1 for punnage, but someone will put it in a private collection within a hundred

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Exactly

“Captian”

8 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 0

*Paris, not "Parris"

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh, come now. There were only three typos, which is very good for an imgur post.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Parris

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

We will always have Parris.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'll fixing that and a few other problems this afternoon. I didn't expect this to go to the front page

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

You combined star trek with the meme of the day... What'd you think would happen?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nah, leave it. It's more authentic this way.

When Paris says "Aye, Captain" after she orders him to plot a course, the spelling is still "Captian".

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

hmmm. I thought I fixed that...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah i also put "how" in the gif twice. If this gets enough upvotes by tomorrow I'll reupload the spell checked copy

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

In that case.... It's Mr. *Paris*, like the city. No double Rs.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yep, that and the progress bar is too big and doesn't reach the end.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I thought the gif wasn't fully loading for me!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#acthually the Tesla Roadster uses an aluminium chassis and plastic panels. It would not rust.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 7

#acthually the dialogue is from a ST Voyager episode where they find a farmer’s truck in space.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Aluminum does oxidize though... instantly.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Try some of this.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sooooo...why would it be rusting? No oxygen, probably zero bare steel on a Tesla Roadster anyway. Maybe radiation-decomposed rubber instead?

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

The rust was from when it was on earth.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There isn't oxygen in space but there can be a lot of water. Water + iron + heat = Rust + Hydrogen.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

If there's water that implies there's oxygen. H2O

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But if you detected polyethylene you wouldn't say you're detecting hydrogen unless the hydrogen was liberated from the molecule.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In the show it was a farmers truck that was already rusted. I didn't want to change the dialogue at all.

8 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 1

Voyager is my favourite show and i remember this scene! You deserve all the upvotes my friend!

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

I did too! Also hello. :P

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Heyyy! It’s been awhile!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think we just both have too much time.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Captain Janeway may be the best captain.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

In a franchise where Picard exists? Are you insane?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

At least we can all agree that Archer was the worst.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

...Really?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

If it wasn't for her periodic hypocritical streak, maybe. But at the drop of a hat she'll go back on everything she believes to protect ->

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

-> someone close to her. Case and point, the show finale where she breaks the Temporal Prime Directive because Seven died.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yeah that’s true.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That’s why I liked her: how very human of her to have such failings, yet striving for something more. Picard, Sisko, Kirk all seem like

8 years ago | Likes 110 Dislikes 2

So you're saying this raised the bar? :D

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

No. It moved the bar.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's annoing, -1 for it.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 21

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The progress bar is distracting.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 5

Distracting for whom? Your one-eye cyclops face?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1
