Mine just had a stomach issue and he's trying to milk it into treats all day rather than eat his food.

Where the hell are you that you only get charged $85 for a vet visit? I want to move there. walking in the door is $150 here, no tests done

My dog would rather chew off his own foot than even be driven in the direction where the vet is. If i turn in the vets direction he shakes..

My dog is happy to go to the vet. They traded his balls for a treat... Yeeh!

Sounds like you need a vet that knows how to do their job,

Dog is not doing it to freak you out. Dog is trying to imitate the habits of the people he loves. I know many dogs who try to smile like us.

Dogs will also yawn like their owners.

I always upvote this post, because the dog looks exactly like my dog.

Our dog fake sneezes for attention

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It would take a lot less for me to call in sick and stay home with my dogs.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I couldn't even be mad.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

this must be old, I can't get out of the vets office for less than a Benjamin and then only if I know exactly what is wrong

Hey, I saw that on Dr Pol. Dog got a treat and attention when it "choked". Had them owners trained good.

As a vet, I can’t imagine a colleague making the diagnosis “fake coughing”

5 years ago | Likes 53 Dislikes 0

Right? Vet here too and I always hate when this is posted.

and apparently they didnt run any tests or imaging or anything else to make that Dx if it only cost $85...

I'm guessing maybe reverse sneeze? I thought my dog was dying because she milked that shit hard and no allergies + reverse sneezing lol

That’s a good thought!

Our black lab had a pin in her hip. She milked the shit out of it because, boy, could she grab shit from the counter just fine, lol.

My friends 12 year old cat had an injury on his leg and when it was healed he'd try to hold it like it was hurt, but he'd use the wrong leg.

Aw cats are so dumb and I love them

My childhood dog milked the fact my dad accidentally ran him over for YEARS after. Every time dad grilled, oh! Oh the pain! The old paaaain!

Black labs are geniuses when it comes to getting food

5 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Had one that ate braided rugs, shingles from the side of a house, tire covers off the back of vans.. could kill a bone in less than an hour

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Side note, he ate PLENTY. He hated being alone.

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

hahaha. My dog did that with his food. He wasn't eating, hadn't eaten for a week. Spent about 300 determining it wasn't cancer, dehydration,>

what breed is your pup?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

he's a lab retriever, mixed with something smallish (don't know, got him when he was 4)

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's my dog! She needs her bowl cleaned thoroughly each time and won't drink water unless the bowl is clean every time

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

>a stomach flu, or some kind of injury, it was because he was tired of roasted, deboned chicken breast, and had been sneak-thiefing bits>

>of our meals when we weren't looking, so he could eat that when it came time for meals. Now we do a 7-day rotation for him so he doesn't>

5 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

>get bored. and he's eaten every meal since.
