How'd we do?

My girlfriend is a professional chef (win!!!) and this was our first attempt at a Full English Breakfast.
It was delicious in case you were wondering. (From the US btw)

It has beans on it.

Not as an insult, but I would likely throw up from attempting to eat all the food on one of those plates. Because I fucking would, too.

TIL in England they love huge plates of garbage.

In addition to fried bread and black pudding, I suggest rashers of bacon, not stripey bacon, poached or sunny eggs, not scramble.

Streaky bacon is pretty much all you can get in the states unless you find a specialist butcher.

I don't quite get the beans as a breakfast food thing.

They taste much different to your everyday canned baked beans in the US. No pork, no molasses, no BBQ flavorings.

Beans are an anytime of day or night food, man ! Nothing is better than beans straight from the tin after about 10 pints down the pub.

Baked beans with buttered toast, oh man is it good!

Also if your beans were anything other than these you got it wrong. http://img.tesco.com/Groceries/pi/671/5000157024671/IDShot_540x540.jpg

I honesty searched and searched. I'm going to have to buy a few tins online, I'm afraid.

That's what I'll do. I love Wegman's

Wegmans is the best. They even have HP sauce if you feel like going 100% authentic. (It goes on eggs and bacon, as you would w/ketchup.)

What does HP stand for?
