Found a cast/crew shooting script while renovating a condo.(In VT no less) It belonged to the woman who had lived there, but had passed away. Her sister hired me to redo the place, and I called her when I found it. She thinks the writer (Peter Blatty)had sent her sister that copy, as she could vaguely remember how her sister had got it. But, how she did get it will remain a mystery, for now. I expressed my profound love of this film and offered to buy it. Luckily, she wouldn't have it. "Take it, she said, I'd probably throw it out" Being a chronic film buff, and such a fan of this film, "Thank you" seemed so dull. But, there was discount added to her renovation bill. Actually, lol, I don't think she noticed.
Note the backwards Original at page bottom. Scripts are copied from the original, naturally, but is a good sign of it's authenticity.

This is a once in a lifetime score - and you just found it? Wanna leave some luck for the rest of us please?

It's not that rare. And 'just' finding it is an understatement. I didn't wanna bore the community with my story of wading through a waist

Deep basement full of every conceivable knick knack, newspaper, etc, etc.

I love treasure hunting. But yeah it's not always a great narrative.
