The baby squirrel was not ready yet to deal with the real life.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That was great +1

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Well... that's one way to feed a cat.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Where's the OC?

Fuck grey squirrels, man.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

They’re assholes for sure. I had a months long battle with one when I lived in the mountains.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thought the cute squirrel was gonna turn around and attack the guy and gnaw on his face.

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

I was 50/50 between this and a hawk

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Cats are apparently responsible for over a billion deaths of birds and small mammels... yearly.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Was expecting a hawk.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ditto

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's the circle of life

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

But the squirrel is ok right?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Cat saliva contains bacteria Pasteurellosis. Untreated, this infection can lead to complications, commonly ending in death for the squirrel.

Didn't cats domesticate themselves? Meh. Same difference.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

That's nature for you

8 years ago | Likes 132 Dislikes 2

Happens all the time

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

That's the angriest face I've ever seen when a person was blowing out something.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Cracks me up every time cause it totally looks like my cousin when she was that age haha

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Nah. That's not nature. That cat enjoys safety and shelter of living with humans and then hunts freely for entertainment, not sustenance.

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 5

No, he is right. Cats are not native, and are a far bigger threat to native wildlife than any other invasive species.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Yeah but cat's do that in the wild as well so...

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

you're an idiot

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 13

Good counter-point. You sure told me.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

you seem to be dumb enough to believe cats can moderate their instincts according to human-reasoning standards

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Never said they could. I blame the people who introduce them to everywhere on the planet.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This my friends is why I HATE cats

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 12

I hand feed five wild squirrels that come to my back patio, and yes, I’ve named them. But I like cats too. This just made me sad

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Never understood hating an entire species. I mean, they're just doing what they evolved to do. Besides people, of course. :P

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

some dogs have an instinct to hunt down & kill prey. do you hate them too?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

The difference is that dogs are regulated (tagged) and not left to roam freely. Negligible environmental impact compared to invasive cats.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"invasive"? they're already here. and you'd be surprised how many dogs roam freely in this country. some even kill people

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

You seem to have difficulty understanding the term "invasive species". As for the dogs... how many "Cat wardens" have you heard of?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

according to that standard, humans are an invasive species. i've never heard of dog/cat wardens

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

because they eat things that their instincts tell them are food?

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

They're one of the most destructive invasive species around.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

No its because they wantonly kill something like a 3.7 billion birds and over 20 million mammals a year in North America.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

For that, you can blame the irresponsible owners who let their cats out to do so.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm sorry, I must have missed the part where the cats willingly got on massive cat boats and sailed over here on their own.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Regardless of their 'willingness' they are doing serious damage.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you know what an invasive species is?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I do, I also don't particularly feel and hatred towards them, obviously they need to be removed from the ecosystem, but you're taking it 1/2
