Flyleaf

So we start with my favorite, Flyleaf. After Lacey Sturm (Former Lead Singer) stepped down, i had become slightly disheartened. Lacey had made this my favorite band of all time due to her voice. They introduced a new lead singer in 2012 (Kristen May) and i must say i am impressed! Definitely check them out!

Pleymo

This is a french Nu-Metal band. Most of there songs are sang in french, to which i do not speak. I have been listening to them for quite some time and though i don't know much of what they are saying i still understand there music more than any other band, you become so immersed! Take a listen!

Sevendust

Probably my favorite band with a male lead singer. Lajon (lead vocal) has a style rather unique that can captivate an audience. This is pretty much all that needs to be said! I'll let you be the judge!

Nonpoint

Only been listening to these guys for around 2 years and already put them up there in my Top 5! Says it all...

Skindred

CHECK... THESE... GUYS... OUT!!!
As good on a record as they are on stage. Every member really know how to put on a performance! This is a trait a lot of bands do tend to lose, Skindred are outrageous, unpredictable and just bat shit crazy!
Guaranteed to know at least one of their tracks!

Out of these bands I've only heard of Sevendust and Flyleaf and I only listen Sevendust. Will have to give a listen to the others.

( 1/2) I met flyleaf (passerby) a few years ago, and not realizing they were a Christian band, cursed like a sailor in front of them

(2/3) They didn't act awkward or say anything or make me feel uncomfortable in any way. Lacey even hugged me. Being from Texas I saw them

many times opening up for better-known local bands; I apologized to them and they were chill about it. They're classy as hell

I was a huge fan of Skindred back in 2001/2002, saw them live and was blown away. A few years later I saw them again and was gutted. 1/2

They were more popular, appearing on Kerrang and the like, but their energy and creativity was gone, they just sounded like everything else.

By the sound of that track Ninja you linked though it seems they refound some of that energy that made them so great in the early years.
