Oh my god so much sugar.

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

"Super-healthy"? Healthy compared to what? Burgers and fries?

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Gosh, the amount of sugar in these. I go for nutrients and fats: spinach, avocado, coconut milk, protein powder, and an occasional berry.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sugar sugar sugar sugar sugar--Oh, nice, sugar!

11 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

Add Vodka and enjoy

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

When will americans realise that sugar = poison

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Let's work on those names.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

somebody wants prevention.com to get hits.....

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Orange Soda+Vanilla Vodka. You're welcome.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Then there is me, allergic for bananas.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hey, it's probably for the best. Those things are so full of sugar.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

ME TOOOO!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a man that's just acquired a blender and is currently blending anything in sight I feel like this post is my destiny.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This post is for all the people who aren't basic enough to have a Pinterest, but who are basic enough to put smoothies on the front page.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Or who are too computer illiterate to know of sites other than ones someone bookmarked for them, and someone added Imgur.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Someone should do one of these lists and then change the links later on to mess with the people who favorite and actually go back to look.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Calm down, Satan.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

how about just linking to "prevention.com" and saying "look for recipes there.

11 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 2

That's exactly what I was thinking.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As a man who has recently acquired a blender and is currently blending everything in sight like a mad scientist. This post is my destiny

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Wait until you get a juicer.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But are they award winning

11 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 7

scrolled down to say this +1

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Only 9 points?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So much sugar, so little protein!

11 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

Amen. Needs some good fats too. Where's the MCT oil? Coconut milk?

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They say healthy, I see pureed sugar

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

When did Imgur become freakin' Pinterest?

11 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

or prevention.com, since the entire list is lifted from there.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Imgurest?

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Someone should do one of these lists and then change the links later on to mess with the people who favorite and actually go back to look.

11 years ago | Likes 105 Dislikes 0

They did. I just came upon a post with this same title that I specifically remember having actual recipes, and they changed it to selfies

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They may be healthy and delicious but I don't touch recipes that haven't won awards.

11 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 4

No really healthy green smoothies ?

11 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 2

Most of these appear to be "delicious" as well as healthy. Green smoothies don't fit the former category.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

They're not that healthy though. That much fruit is a big sugary spike

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

naked green machine is really good

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

1/4 Pineapple, 1 Medium Banana (No banana for scale), Heaping handful of fresh Spinach, 1/4tsp Spirulina, 2 cups coconut water.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1/4cup pineapple, sorry. 1/4 pineapple is too much pineapple

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Say Pineapple one more time.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

These are seriously good. When I was exercising, I drank similar every breakfast. My favorite was berry. I put some spinach in every 1/

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

single one along with protein powder and milk. Throw in some fresh Straw/Rasp/Blueberries and you are good to go. The green tea 2/

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

3/3 one is really good too. Ended up losing 20 pounds. Every time I think about starting back up my routine..I plan on these first.

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Why did you stop?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Hurt my knee.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would add gin, rum or vodka to any of these. That's what being an adult means, right?

11 years ago | Likes 111 Dislikes 1

yep

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Tequila perhaps

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Nutella anyone?

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

yes please :-)

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or ice cream. Or, better, ice cream AND Baileys. Perfect breakfast smoothie.

11 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I'm lactose intolerant :(

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Found the Russian

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Isn't there still a lot of sugar in these? Genuinely curious + want to save the diabetics.

11 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 4

Bananas are terrible for diabetics. A single banana can double blood sugar levels. I no longer consider bananas healthy.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Yeah a green smoothie is better, less fruit in one sitting. Its all about amounts, Diabetics can eat candy to, just not bags of it at once.

11 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

There is, but they are natural sugars which is way better for your body to process, even for diabetics, these fruits are recommended by Drs.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I think half of a frozen banana for the smoothie

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yup. That's how fruit works.

11 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 0

And the entire blending process pretty much destroys the fibre.

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

Not sure why you're being downvoted for this. Serious blending separates the fibre from the sugar, making it no better than a chocolate bar

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Choosing berries ( filled with antioxidants) over melon fruits (filled with natural sugar) can be much healthier. No tasty mango. :(

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Fruit contains quite a lot sugar, but it's fructose, wich is quite alright for diabetes. But just have ONE a day. And no other sugar things.

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 7

Fructose in a smoothie is often blended away from its fibre, making it little different from glucose in a blood sugar sense

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, yes. Thats why the limitation to one a day and no other sugar.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yeah definitely. But, my dad, who is diabetic, typically has a banana smoothie with unsweetend almond from time to time.

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

What does that have to do with diabetes

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

Smoothies are full of sugar, yet his dad who is diabetic can enjoy one now and then and its fine. Everything in moderation.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

If he likes, he could add unsweetened peanut butter to that! Totally nuts but really delicious

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh great idea!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes but I pack it with tons of spinach so the fiber can slow down the digestion of sugar

11 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I love spinach in smoothies! surprisingly not much flavour, and you get all the good stuff without tons of sugars.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yup! Tons of good stuff that you're getting raw and you barely even notices (maybe a funky colored smoothie at worst)

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i also found that i liked the new consistency. crazy stuff.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I like the consistency of a smoothie with frozen bananas in it- surprisingly delicious!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Step 1, unsweetened fruit. Step 2, add protein powder.

11 years ago | Likes 106 Dislikes 7

Step 3, ????

11 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 1

What do you mean unsweetened fruit? That doesn't sound natural.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So, just normal fruit? Don't buy fruit in bags and shit.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Frozen fruit is best

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Fresh fruit goes bad quickly but a lot of the frozen stuff has sugar added. That's why I said look for the unsweetened fruit.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I guess that's true. I retract my statement.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Instead of protein powder try plain Greek yogurt

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Both. My breakfast consists of two sugar-free or low sugar packets of oatmeal, Greek yogurt and protein powder.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Chobani is the only company I've found with <10g of sugar. I use their 4% or 0% fat yogurt plain Greek yogurt.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I use regular plain yogurt. Is there an advantage to Greek yogurt? Is protein powder not as good for you? Inquiring minds want to know hah

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Protein powder is just expensive and usually has added sugar for flavoring.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Step 4, gains

11 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 1

step 5, domestic violence

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 6

All the gains.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I...I thought fruits had sugar in it.....isn't fructose a form of sugar?

11 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Yep. These shakes will make you fat unless you are careful about moderation.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Unsweetened meaning no added sugar.

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Most fruit is really sweet even without adding any sugar.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

In a banana there is actually about 100g of sugar and you shouldn't eat them too much per week if you want to lose weight.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

100g are you serious?? that is a damn lot.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not processed sugar though so it's not as bad as they say

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The average weight of a banana is 120 grams, do you mean that 5/6ths of a banana are made of sugar? (The number I found was 14g per banana)

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm sorry I meant 10 g, one zero too much :D

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A lot of companies add sugar to their frozen fruit

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This is shocking to me. I guess it's more of an American thing right. Throw corn syrup into everything.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

yea, it is annoying because fruit is already sugar and if someone wants more sugar they can add it in themselves.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How about 20 super-unhealthy smoothies for people like me?

11 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 1

So you start with some Manchineel fruit, add some Jatropha seeds and some European spindle fruit. Certified unhealthy.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1/2 lb fish, 3 tbs tartar sauce, 1 tbs ketchup, 3 scoops icecream

11 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Oh, meant to reply to you instead of karp, but http://www.hulu.com/watch/19046

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Message me your favorite smoothies from Jamba juice.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just add bacon to all of these

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Of course! Why didn't I think of that. Wait no, even better, instead of these fruits and what not... how about just bacon. A large (1/2)

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

plate of delicious, greasy bacon. (2/2)

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Those 20 smoothies are unhealthy, though.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Here's a classic: 1/2 tub of Crisco, 1/4 cup bacon grease, 6-pack of hot dogs, sprig of parsley. Serve in a chilled Martini glass.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Where do you buy 6-packs of hot dogs at? 'Round these parts, they're sold in 8-packs.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Here's one. 4 scoops vanilla ice cream, 4 tbsp sugar, 1 1/2 cups whole milk, the tiniest amount of vanilla extract.

11 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

Do you need to add sugar when you've included icecream? Seems like overkill

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I normally don't even do dessert. The sugar is to not dilute the sweetness when you add the milk. You don't need it, but it helps taste.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Needs more peanut butter

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

That's a milkshake, fool. Smoothies need fruit.

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

add a cherry on top as garnishment, I mean as the viable unblended fruit base of this smoothie, of course.

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I don't drink smoothies to be healthy, I drink them because you add ice cream and they're fucking delicious

11 years ago | Likes 211 Dislikes 9

TIL

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

putting yogurt and a banana in there will taste just as good imo

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And when you add booze, they become super delicious!

11 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 0

Party hard

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

this guy knows

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah smoothies are delicious but not really all that healthy.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

They are if you make them right. Toss a lot of juice, or as the above said ice cream, then hell no. But veggies and fruit, healthy.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Still is a fuck ton of sugar. Juicing is really the way to go if you want healthy.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

That sounds more like a milkshake and less like a smoothie.

11 years ago | Likes 83 Dislikes 0

If it's 50% ice-cream, and 50% fruit, is it a smoothie or a milkshake?

11 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Sorbetshake?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Milkshake. Smoothies don't have ice-cream, they're just fruit, sometimes a bit of yoghurt.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I belive smoothies dont have ice cream.

11 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Why not both? We'll call it a smoothshake.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

a smoothshake obviously

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Whatever it is, it's delicious. But seriously, what's the rule? At 50% it sounds (to me) like a milkshake, but I could be wrong.

I always thought a smoothie had to have either plain yogurt or just crushed ice. I've honestly never tried one with ice cream.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You don't actually need yogurt in a smoothie. You can get as good or better texture with just bananas. Source: we were out of yogurt

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Step 1: Put fruit in blender. Step 2: Turn on blender. Step 3: Enjoy amazing smoothie.

11 years ago | Likes 324 Dislikes 2

Not if you have a shitty blender.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Whoa slow down I need a pen and paper.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

add tequila

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't forget that a little fruit can totally hide a lot of vegetables. I've made dark green shakes that tasted like pineapple only. mmmmm :)

11 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Step 4: ?????. Step 5: profit.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Step 4: kick it up a notch, add liquor.

11 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 2

That's the only reason I saved this page

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

alright here we go.. step 1. shit I need a blender.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Exactly why do we need 20 pictures, get fruit, smash it, drink that up..

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Send help, got my cat stuck in blender. No... wait... Mmmmmm, this tastes like rainbows.

11 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

And pop tarts...

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Nyan?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Step 1.5 put your dick in the blender

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Exactly. It's all about experimenting. Personally I think my smoothies taste the best when I add 1/2 avocado, makes it super creamy.

11 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Ooh good idea

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Freeze fruit first, even better!

11 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 0

Just one word of advice: Peel bananas before freezing. Its a bit of a nightmare otherwise.

11 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Alot of fruit is not better when frozen

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 10

Alots are scary but also kind of cute

11 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Fruit tends to degenerate when they DEFROST, because the freezing process causes ice crystals to destroy the cell walls.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

however, if you're just going to blend it in a smoothie, this means more fruit and less ice cubes in the smoothie. and no defrosting occurs.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I love you, alot.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

A good blender will set you back $100, but you will never go to jamba juice again.

11 years ago | Likes 547 Dislikes 4

I never even went!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a former employee of Jamba juice, fuck that place. Jokes on them I still know all the recipes.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wanted to get one with the multiple jars/carafes...the ones that can double as a food processor, but not too much $. Recommendations?

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Me, too. Still researching, but this one is still at the top of my list.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Forgot how to add a link, but it's on Amazon and come with 2 to-go cups, main blender, and food processor thing. Oster BLSTVB-103-000 Versa

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm a single guy who is still using a $20 blender I won at my high school graduation. Am I missing out on something?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bruh do you even Nutribullet

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Tried it in California once. Smoothie King is so much better though!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just got myself a Vitamix and I couldn't be happier.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Got a $100 KitchenAid for Xmas. Couldn't be happier with it. Fuck Vitamix.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We spent $200 on the Ninja System. We don't buy bread or salsa anymore.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you only need to make 1-2 servings the Magic Bullet is awesome!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

get a Ninja for $40 if you want a really good, simple blender

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've never been to Jamba Juice.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I got a blender on clearance for five bucks three years ago. Still works just fine

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I saw a movie about a guy that liked to blend. It didn't go well for him cause the gov thought he knew too much. Guess the movie get a +1.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Single serve smoothie blenders run about $10-15 and aren't half bad if you're not mixing really solid ingredients.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

.. I use mine more than our regular blender, which, yes, is a few hundred bucks.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got the same model Osterizer blender my parents have had for 20+ years at a garage sale for $1. I love it!

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

have fun constantly buying fresh fruit and cleaning your blender... the convenience is worth it. plus jamba oatmeal is amazing! iwork4jj :(

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Jamba Juice is Super Fruity.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I have a nutribullet and I regret nothing. I even use it to cook... best tool in my kitchen!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I got the 900 watt and I use it pretty much every day. Never used it for hot stuff tho...

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But but I love Jamba juice :(

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm taking part in a weight loss challenge and the prize is a Vitamix! Right now I am working with a 20+ year old blender...

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mine was 28$ its mostly for smoothies

"fuck jamba juice" - that thug cooking site

11 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Vajamba* juice

11 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 2

Was looking for this.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My favorite

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Why would you never want to go to Vajamba Juice? I would go every day if I could!

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It was the heat of the moment, my response was not thoroughly thought out...

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Got a Ninja for Christmas. I don't know much about blenders. Are they any good?

11 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I have one of those, best purchase I've made in a long time. I've never eaten so much fruit.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I bought my parents the Ninja that comes with a food processor bowl for Christmas and the fuckin' thing tears through everything like paper.

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Obviously not a good Ninja if you know where it is...

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I haven't actually seen it yet. I was just told that I was given a Ninja for Christmas.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Yep they rock! I made a banana, ginger and HouseMade hot honey smoothie this morning. Amazing!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can you recommend a specific model? :)

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just bought my second ninja after the first one died after about 5 years of abuse. Best. Blender. Ever.

11 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Can you recommend a specific model? :)

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Here's the one I bought- really reasonably priced and super convenient with 3 different sizes and lids to store.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So it works as a food processor, too?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My blender was $12 (on clearance, $40-ish originally) and it does just fine.

11 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 3

The difference, in my experience, is longevity.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I bought it in '08.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

We have a $35 and $300 blender, for normal smoothies it's not really night and day difference despite what some might say.

Got one for $29, it's brilliant, it can blend Ice and other hard shit. My sister in law made Toblerone drinks for christmas. (It's basically

ice, 2 tblspoons of honey, chocolate syrup, Bailey's Irish Cream, franjelico, cream and Kahlua), it was DELICIOUS.

what blender??

It's a Kambrook brand, not sure if it's available in America, but it was from K-Mart here in Australia.

My grandma did that as well, worked fine, then the blade dislodged and cut all the skin off of the upper part of her right arm. Or something

D: did it not have a cover lid thing on top???

Yeah, the whole thing just came apart. Also, I'm not saying this is what happens with cheapish blenders, just that, you know.. it can.

I <3 my Ninja. Turns ice into snow in five seconds. A Vitamix or Blendtec would be even better but I ain't made of money!

We have an Omniblend V, kinda the asian upstart, but it's almost if not as good as Vitamix/Blendtec.

$100 less than a vitamix! good to know

I have worked on vitamins in kitchens. I like our ninja at home. It's more durable.

Can you recommend a specific model? :)

I have the Pro/ 1000 watt. You could spring for the "Pro Mega" and it comes with both the pitcher and a food processor bowl.

My husband almost cut his thumb off using his mother's Ninja at Thanksgiving. Now I'm a little nervous to use ours.

The blades are so ridiculously razor sharp. I always clean mine with a thick towel to avoid direct contact.

He had just finished drying it and it slipped off the counter. He tried to catch it, decided that was bad and moved his hand away. Too late!

My mom was pouring smoothies and blade dislodged. She reached for it and nearly sliced 2 of her fingers to the bone.

I like those stick blenders, perfect for smoothies and half the price.

I've used mine to also make mashed potatoes, refried beans and hummus.

Also comes in handy when you get a positive on a pregnancy test!

My blender cost me $400.00. I REGRET NOTHING!

I don't regret my top of the line blender, but I still much prefer Jamba Juice where they have all the ingredients and do all the work.

My fiancé and I bought the $350 ninja. We use it at least 4 days a week. We also regret nothing.

This made me think I misspelled something

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not even one letter?

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

not even one.

Vitamix?

11 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 1

That was going to be my question.

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Blendtech. If anyone is wondering, the main difference is that the Vitamix has a nifty little pushy downy thingy for sticky frozen things.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Best thing I have ever bought. Saves money in the long run.

11 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Mine was over $500. Vitamix ftw!

11 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Vitamix blender is going to be my graduation/first good job gift to myself before it all goes back to loans. One more year til smoothies!!

11 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I use my Vitamix at least 5x/week. Smoothies - yes, but also for delicious soups too!

11 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Does it blend?

11 years ago | Likes 78 Dislikes 0

FORK YES IT DOES! But seriously, I did end up going with the blendtech.

11 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

i figured based on the price point and that my roommate bought one as well.
