My cousin, who has been fully deaf since he was a toddler, listens to music all the time, both in his car, and with AirPods. He likes the feel of it, especially stuff like Tool, with very prominent bass and percussion.
Honest question here, and pardon if this sounds ignorant — I just want to learn! How is it you can be familiar with music if you’re hearing impaired; unless you have partial/reduced hearing?
my sister (before she got bluetooth hearing aids that could also work as earpieces for music) used to only be able to actually hear music (well enough to appreciate it) if it was played on *good* speakers with her hearing aids in, or with the can style headphones turned up load enough you could gear them across the room. in other words, browsing imgur/reddit with sound at all was a no-go most of the time.

I'm not OP but Hearing impared myself. For me I browse Imgur a lot before bed. With my hearing aids out. Just my experience. ♡
