I'm 28 years old. My friend got married this weekend and the bride and groom left Polaroid cameras on the reception tables for the guests to make memories with.

It made me very sad. Took about 2 minutes to convince people that you didnt just point it in the right direction and hope that you captured the subject accurately. The other guests my age couldn't believe how "involved" the picture taking process was with having to look through the viewfinder.

Oh and they thought it was broken when the picture came out white at first. #shakeitlikeapolaroidpicture.

Why? You know what "obsolete" means, right?

The mind gets lazy(dumb) when others make things easier for you. Schools should teach curiosity! You should be interested in how things work

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 4

Oh no don't shake it

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

25 here HOW THE FUCK DO THEY NOT KNOW HOW TO TAKE A PICTURE AND WHY DO THEY THINK THE SCREEN IS THE BEST WAY! Viewfinders FTW

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 2

Hey I went to a wedding exactly like that this weekend in Brooklyn......

Didn't know how much I needed that gif in my life until now. Thank you.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You must be the rich kid. My dad didn't buy a camera until I was 12

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Maybe poor ppl? I'm 32 and i never seen one...

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Surprising. I'm also 32 and grew up poor. this is our generation's common knowledge. You don't have to own it to be culturally aware of it.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

How? How do you know how to use something if you never seen someone using one?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Listening to my elders and the internet.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well this is the most circle jerk thing i've seen today

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Dude, I'm 32 and i never seen one of those polaroid in my life.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I'm 22 and appalled that people older than me don't know what a Polaroid is.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm 30 and have never used a polaroid

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't believe you

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 5

Have you met people? They're pretty dumb.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

i don't believe him either. Like, were there no parents or aunts or uncles there? Just all kids? yeaaaaaa.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Not even that we're not talking about kids either we're talking about 28 yr olds! people born in '89 who don't know how to use a Polaroid?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We grew up on movies and cartoons riddled with Polaroid cameras no way the majority didn't know how to use one.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As someone in their early to mid-twenties, how does ANYONE my age not know how these work? Disposable cameras still exist, too!

8 years ago | Likes 405 Dislikes 1

I'm in my late teens. I find it weird that people my age don't know how Polaroids work. Granted I've always been one who loves older tech. 1

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

My first computer ran MS-DOS so. I've had computers running 95, 98, 2000, XP, Vista (still scarred for life), 7, 8, and now 10. 2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

as somebody in their early twenties - family couldn't afford polaroid camera when I was young. sometimes stuff just passes you by.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Oh man I remember my parents making me buy disposables for school trips instead of taking the fancy new "digital cameras" (1/2)

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

To be fair when digital cameras first went main stream they were awful.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Only to find out that I would never get the photos developed maybe 1 every 5 trips I would actually get to see my pictures like 3 yrs later!

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Ah yes, the photos that never were. Fiancee got her Georgia trip pictures developed that weekend. I have E3 2012 pictures I've never seen.

User name checks out

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

For some reason this joke just completely flew over my head as a struggled to remember if that was what a "disposable" camera meant...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I'm almost 30, and I've never used one, only cheap disposables

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

People are sheltered yo

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I was born in the late 90's, and I only used one when I was 3 or 4, after that it was digital.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They probably always will too. Older tech still has its uses.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Psh, my housemate won't put hers down in her efforts to be as hipster and cool as possible. Can you tell it drives me nuts?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Seriously? A Polaroid is the main thing my 11 year old asked for last Christmas. They still make/sell them.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I hope you took a few pictures or your dick and shuffled them in with the rest.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

Don't shake Polaroid pictures, it doesn't help them develop faster, and can cause the chemicals to blend wrong, ruining the photo.

8 years ago | Likes 146 Dislikes 0

I posted, asking about the same thing, then read your comment before I deleted mine. +1

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yup. You're especially not supposed to shake Impossible film. Which is the only film that's made for Polaroid cameras. @op is a phony.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Those are the lyrics to an Outkast song, and it used to be necessary, so the habit kinda stuck.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It was never necessary. It was a bogus habit created by impatient people and was never proven to have any benefit

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

But it feels good.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

More ups for this! Shaking might make them more "interesting" but if you don't want to spoil them don't shake it.

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Gentle warmth is supposed to speed the development process. Put it under your arm

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thanks alot, Outkast!

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Seriously! Ruining pictures everywhere he goes!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

a lot*

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Really? I'm 21 and know how to use one. Maybe it's because I grew up poor and that's all we could use.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Nah, the guests were just idiots. I see kids with those Fuji Instax cameras that are basically the same thing.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes? We only had a normal camera, not a fancy Polaroid, because the films themselves were so expenssive. :P

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I thought Polaroid was dead. I can no longer buy Polaroid film for my 4x5 view camera.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Another company bought the old Polaroid instant film factory and is producing film at a hideous premium.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I know. My kid was thrilled to find a Polaroid camera at goodwill. I had to break it to him that the film is next to unaffordable.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's $30 for 300 exposures

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Where??? I couldn't find anything that good.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Walmart, Nordstom, Target, and you can probably find some on amazon for cheaper

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He doesn't know how to use the three seashells

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A lot of people couldn't afford a polariod camera and expensive film...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Good for you.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Like what's the point you can't even upload it to instagraaaahhhm.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I know right? It's all the same ugly filter too.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

People don't understand the concept of a rotary phone either. It's what happens when the technology fades.

8 years ago | Likes 166 Dislikes 4

I used one that still works like 7 or 8 years ago.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Or when kids these days put a rotary phone app on their smartphones because they think it's cool. The struggle for dialing 9 was real...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's so weird to me because rotary phones are insanely easy and simple to use. It just takes longer to dial a number is all.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Disappointing how kids these days don't know how to use a spinning wheel. SMH

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Yet we still "dial" peoples numbers and will call it that far into the future.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

True but I feel it shouldn't be hard to introduce the concept to someone. Maybe it's more involved than current tech, but it still works.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure you still look at the picture you're taking before taking it though except its now on a digital screen instead of the viewfinder

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's what happens when the technology fades, and people become absolute retards with no hint of inventiveness or self-sufficiency over time.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'M 14 AND I KNOW HOW THEY WORK WHAT

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

That username. Jesus, kid.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ah that was tame. Case and point GrandmasHorseCock

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

imagine when you ARE 60, jesus tech is advancing like crazy

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yeah I'm scared that I won't keep up, although I am an aspiring techie and computer scientist

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

MechaJesus?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Jheezzze, I'm 14 years old and I know how they work..

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 4

same but i just turned 15 but i have millennial cousins who are obsessed with these

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Yeah, the only way I ever even knew how Polaroids exist probably is because of my dad (at the time he was 48) telling me several years ago.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Holy shit do you guys think millennials are old?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

no theyre just like those weird hipsters try hards but also took photography classes

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Millennials are every person born from 1980 and 2000 it's a generation we didn't all take gender studies in college we are Dr's and Farmers

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 3 and quite aware of the chemical process.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Yeah, well I'm 18 months old. Not only do I know the chemical properties of the polaroid, but I also speak in unusually complete sentences.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Shut up baby

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You're a posterchild for abortian.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is terrifying.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm 24 and for the first 12 years of my life (at least!) we used a camera with film in it. So how do you not know where to look at 28

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I also used to own this bad boy:

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I made a comment to a millennial that Pandora gets to pay less by including a bunch of B-sides and then had to explain what a B-side was...

8 years ago | Likes 89 Dislikes 6

I only know what this is because my Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff tape cassette had an A-side and a B-side..

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I will say, though, the term 'B-side' has taken on a slightly different meaning now. It now refers to any song not released as a single.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

According to The Center for Generational Kinetics, Millennials were born between 1977 to 1995, so I think most of them know records >>>

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You might mean Gen Z, born 1996 to present ... or just "damn kids", if you ask me.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What's weird is the inconsistencies in the dates used... From wikipedia: 1/3

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The majority of researchers and demographers start the generation in the early 1980s, with many ending the generation in the mid-1990s. 2/3

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Australia's McCrindle Research regards 1980–1994 as Generation Y birth years. A 2013 PricewaterhouseCoopers report and Edelman Berland 4/5

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had heard the term and thought it was a pun on "beside". never knew they put bonus tracks on the underside of a record...

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 4

"Bonus tracks" hahahaha

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Even "the underside of a record" reveals an upbringing with access only to CDs on which only one side has media

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

I mean, strictly speaking, there's no reason you couldn't have media on both sides of a disc. We just have this fascination with labelling.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I believe it's to provide a more robust surface for handling and marking. Flippable cds were trialled but rejected due to high damage rate.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What does the Bayside have to do with Pandora?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sooo what is a Bside? Asking for a friend

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

In the past, it was literally the song on the B-side of a 7" vinyl record. Now, it refers to any song not released as a single.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

On Vinyl records, you would have the A-side, and the B-side, with different music on each. Generally, the B-side was more experimental.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

Usually this was with a single on a 45 where they single was on the A-side then a one-off songe on the b-side. Usually b-sides are not on +

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

+ the full 12" album.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh also a "45" is a single (usually 7") played at 45 RPM. A 12" album is played at 33&1/3 RPM

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

How old are you

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I know a 24 year old saying "damn millennials" because he thinking you have to be 17 or less to be one

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Yea i use to say millennials then i found out us gen ys and gen zs are now bunched as millennials. I missed the voting this matter

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Yea you can be born in 1980-1985 and still be a millennial

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Doesn't it seem like an overly broad grouping? Doesn't it also change depending on who you ask?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Eventually it will be. The "definition" is anything but, it's just fuzzy rantbait. A clean line in the sand is too appealing, inevitable.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm 33, and I bought my last cassette tape 20 years ago. If they still existed 20 years ago. The commenter could be 20-something.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I was trying to find out if he was a person that is a millennial but thinks he is not. Example is you are considered a millennial as well

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh. I thought it was the question asked sometimes of people to imply you think they're very old. I'm sorry.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

no problem at all man

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Barley though lol, an original

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wait what? I'm 29 and had a Polaroid camera when I was about 7 or 8... they can't be that outdated can they???

8 years ago | Likes 1504 Dislikes 3

I'm ... much older ... than that. And, also had a Polarioid when I was 7 or 8 ...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 22 and I also had a Polaroid camera around that age... so I don't think they're that outdated

8 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 0

They were pretty phased out in the US when I was in kindergarten and I'm 25, so it's more uncommon for you to have had experiences than not

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The US is a pretty big place, your experience may not speak for the whole country, plus kindergarten is 4/5 that's too young for a camera

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They're not. People are just stupid.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 22, I don't think I ever saw one around the house when I was little, but always knew how they worked.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

18, I know how to use, want one so badly.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Even still, it's not like it's some mystical box. Look in one end, press button, picture comes out.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 23 and I had one.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

M kid is 4 and Santa brought her one last year

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Relatable comment about my age and how I know what Polaroid camera is.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Nah, I'm 24 and I know them

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They're huge in Asia

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 22, I used Polaroid cameras when I was 10, and a black and white camera when I was 15 to make an "authentic" pic for history class.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 19 and remember playing with one when i was fairly little. My parents are old though so that may be why

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same here and I'm 25. Fuji still makes (cheaper) versions of those cameras, my gf got one just last month.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

well... to my great shame, I am 34 and never used a Polaroid camera :((

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 23 and I used to have a Polaroid. I'm either a very old soul or everyone I know lived under a rock for half their lives.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 19 and even i had one growing up. I mean it was my older sisters but nonetheless they don't seem old

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

polaroids were outdated in the 90s, so yes. they were still cool until smart phones, I guess, although less useful with digital cameras

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dude I'm 19 and know about Polaroid cameras those people are just fucktards.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 21 and I had my Dad's from the 70's when I was younger. I knew people then who used brand new ones ...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah same, I'm 26 and remember having one when I was little. Had to save to buy new packs of the rectangular film sheet things

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My sister's like 15 and she got a polaroid camera for her birthday, it's pretty cool actually, they aren't outdated at all

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

48 year old here. Yes they are that outdated. Also correct that the other guests were fucking morons

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Listen, I've never used one, I've never seen one, only heard of them. Their like those walkman things to me. I'm 21.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Im 25, never had one of those cameras, but i sure as hell know how one works.. its not rocketscience

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

on the flipside I'm 27 and though I've held polaroid pictures I've never taken photos with them. Disposable cameras were the future yo

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

29 here. I would love to have one again.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They sell them now at urban outfitters and they're popular with hipstery youth so maybe just stupid...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 22, grew up in both the US and Europe. I've never seen a Polaroid camera in person.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I'm 19, and even I know how to use a Polaroid camera. Heck, some of my friends even still have them.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

at 19 im a little clueless about them but even i know what a veiw finder is and that they print white.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

never had a polaroid camera, but when I was a kid we had cameras with negatives that had to be developed, so id probably get the viewfinder

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They are outdated, even for our age. They had a resurgence when we were about 14 but brief and it was hipstery.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

But they say the issue was using a viewfinder but digital cameras had an optical viewfinder through the 2000s

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ok that is super dumb.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hell I'm in my final year of Highschool and I remember using Polaroid Instants

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

they just started making them again, but its not surprising some people never had one.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm 18, and I refuse to believe they went out of fashion long enough for a hipster revival

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well I am 47 and my father had a folding Polaroid camera covered in chrome and leather. It was the shit!

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The ones from the 50's that still took film? I have one in my room waiting to be converted to fit modern film

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

From the 70's. My brother still has it. It really was an amazing thing at the time. Now I look at it and laugh.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 27. Grew up with a Polaroid and my wife just got a new one from her parents.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They made a come back the last couple years too idk how people dont know how to use them

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 17 and I know exactly what they are and how to use them why are people so dumb

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm 18 and had a polaroid as a kid, idk why

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought polaroid cameras were in fashion again

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"im not out of touch, am I? No, it's the kids who are wrong"

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well, kids now mostly don't recognize VHS tapes, and even DVDs sometimes.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

What kills me is most the young people who know how to use them, know it ironically.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I have a really cool SX-70 camera. www.impossible-project.com makes film for Polaroid cameras

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No people are that sheltered, and don't look for anything further than their own nose.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

They came out in 1972...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

The original one, but they released new versions over the years. The one we had in my house growing up came out in the 90s

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No! I think everyone at this wedding was just stupid. Seriously. The bride and groom got a laugh but at first they were like WTF.

8 years ago | Likes 820 Dislikes 9

Yeah I'm 22 and we had one growing up. I could totally see my friends/peers being totally oblivious (read: stupid though

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

It's bizarre that they're your age too. I would get the "wow I feel old" but this like being confused over a non-flat screen TV in your 30s.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Those people are fucking retarded

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

Yep, idiots. I've never used Polaroids, but I've seen shows, movies and even play video games where one is used

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

Yeah I think you need to start hanging out with smarter people.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I mean, they can be a BIT tricky when they're the LAND style ones.. but the new style insta ones? Those are pretty easy to operate.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean fuck at work we sell a ton of the fuji film instax cameras and they are the same thing. I'm so confused at the stupidity

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

My 6 & 3 year olds know how to look through a viewfinder

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh man, I used to have a Mavica. Digital camera that you swapped out FLOPPIES. And this was 2001 tech. It had a lithium battery.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well if the bride and groom are able to find a bunch, plus film, they can't be that outdated.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think they were also sad about their dumb friends.

8 years ago | Likes 472 Dislikes 1

I wonder if they know what vhs are

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This was a good ride ty for this.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Polaroids are still in use for just this very reason. At a wedding getting an instant photo makes for some fun mementos.

8 years ago | Likes 92 Dislikes 0

I miss buying 4 10-packs at Costco for $35. And I'm 33! Your friends paid an arm and a leg for those exposures. They're over $2/shot.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Technically, there are new version Polaroids out called Instax. They don't exactly work the same. The question is which "polaroid" was used?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Look, I'm 24 and everyone I grew up with knows what a poloroid camera is and how viewfinders work. Their friends are just dumb

8 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 3

I'm only 20 and all my friends know what a polaroid camera is, and at least 3 own one. my favorite toy as a kid was the viewfinder too....

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

I'm 20 and I've never seen one in real life

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I see, gotta jerk the same dick as everyone else then? Every downvote I assume to come from people who've been spying on me for 25 years.

Or - wait for it - they're fucking idiots who don't know shit.

I'm 24 and we had one in my house growing up. So you're probably being a little hyperbolic there.

That you, God? If not, stop assuming things you know nothing about.

They are. Tech moves fast and not everyone was given a camera when they were a kid. I'm 32 and have never held one, nor been taught its use.

But I'm pretty sure you saw a movie whete someone just looked trough the lens and pressed a buton on top of the thing.

Sure. But lamenting that 20 somethings don't know how a polaroid works is akin to complaining they don't know how to use an 8-track player

I never used or saw a gramofon in my life and yet if domeone ask me to use one I have an idea how it's supposed to work.

It doesn't take a genius to use a Polaroid, even if you never saw one. Now thinking it was broken when the pic came out I can understand.

Especially since Polaroids were not the only cameras with a viewfinder, all of my first digital cameras (mid-2000s) had optical viewfinders
