Refusing to wear masks or vaccinate, while they did shit like force people into an enclosed space (like their cop cars) with them. To be fair, just looked up Police officer, and under fatal injury, it said ‘no data’. But I know from previous years that it’s not ranked in the top 10, I can’t guarantee it’s not in the top 25, as it doesn’t actually take that many deaths to qualify for it. And there must be a number of officers killed by reckless driving, friendly acorn related shooting, and similar. If it could be split into killed by criminal while trying to apprehend it would be very low though.
