I made a 1930s-inspired Snow White gown in honor of her upcoming 80th anniversary!

Final result at Disneyland Dapper Days this year!

So "Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs" turns 80 this December, and Snow White is my girl, so I knew I wanted to make a Snow White inspired gown for my first "Dapper Days" at Disneyland. I decided it would be a fun challenge to try and draw elements and colors from the original film to inspire my 1930s gown.

I tried to stay true to the original colors as much as possible, but sadly I couldn't find a yellow satin that was as light as I had wanted; but I felt all-in-all the other colors stayed pretty true to the originals.

Since I couldn't find the right shade of red I wanted in satin for the dress, I had to make my own, which meant lots of pleats & even MORE pins to hold said pleats.
